Alright so I'm level 40. I have a decent grasp on the game and I think it is time for a reflection.

The main subject I want to spearhead the review with is the quests. Holy Crap! Sure, you can classify every single one as a "go here, kill/find this" quest but, in reality, every quest has a uniqueness to it. Every quest has a back story or a reason for you to accomplish your goal wether it be to upgrade your skills or to just pwn some encroaching bandits. Adding to that, I have never had less than 10 main quests and 12 to 15 "miscellaneous" quests. The only con to this many quests is that the player feels disconnected with the main story line at moments.

As far as gameplay is concerned, amazing. The fights are incredibly realistic and will challenge even the most die hard RPG gamers. In my experience, there has never been a time where I felt like I was too high of a level because even the lowliest of monsters can hurt you significantly. If I missed a block with my shield, there was room to improve. In most RPGs, you reach a point where you dominate but not skyrim, my friend, not skyrim. Did I mention dragons?

Yes, Dragons rule the skies once more but my sword and shield still rule the land. Taking on a dragon is exhilirating and, to my surprise, are random events rather than boss battles. It takes the game into a whole new dimension. Not only are you fighting off the wolves and bears in the wild but dragons are lurking everywhere. I'm about 30 hours in and I have just received my achievement for killing 20 dragons. It is hard to believe that it has been that many and you have no idea how many quests have been abandoned due to the roar in the sky.

The level up system is quite straight forward, tack on 10 points to either magicka, health or stamina and then allocate a perk to a classification of your choosing. The only way to gain experience is by actually using your weapons, armor, or craft which is where I'm torn at. I really do miss the amount of experience you gained from just completing a quest but all is fair in love and war.

An issue has arised though, there are a lot of bugs and glitches. Personally, I'm used to it after playing Two Worlds but other people have less leniency for imperfection. I've experienced just as many as the next guy but the xbox seems to have a solution to them all with a little bit of effort on the players' part.

If you can handle a little frustration over manipulating the glitches then I certainly recommend this game to you. It has a ton of content, introduces you to a tactical beowulf-esque timeline, challenges your skill as a gamer and the environment is astounding. I want to give this game a 10/10 but the glitches bring it down to a 9/10.

No game should be awarded a perfect 10 and i have had 1 feeze up and still some glitches so i will give it a 9.9(best game i have ever played).

So true. But freezes on PS3 are a lot more frequent. Not to mention the FPS issues. I will agree with you though, Skyrim is the best game I've ever played.
