Private Rise of the Fallen I [FALL]

(OOC: Sorry I havn't posted in a while, Had no interest in posting during the Werewolf attack)

Rhyonir watched from behind some rocks, and looked for his escaped, when he looked upwards, he saw the small hole above his head, he grabbed onto the bricks and found the hole easy to scale up. When he was outside of the cave, he pushed some rocks to cover the hole, he had no choice. Rhyonir looked at the awkward intersection he was in. There were four paths he could choose from and all looked like they went on for some distance.

Rhyonir continued to walk the same direction he came out of the hole facing, Rhyonir picked up a small rock and threw it down the tunnel as he walked, and heard and it hit the wall at the end, Rhyonir smiled and knew he didn't have further to go, then out of the corner of his eye, he saw a small ruby, it appeared to be flawless.

As Rhyonir picked it up he saw an unlit torch on the wall, and it appeared to be a lever. As Rhyonir pulled on it and the sun burned his eyes, Rhyonir proceeded outside. As Rhyonir regained his sense, he saw a small bandit camp a little South from him. Rhyonir heard a voice call from behind him, "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Falkreath still?" Rhyonir turned around and saw Lod. "What are you doing here?" said Rhyonir with a shriek of surprise. "I am here killing wolves, to get more Wolf Hides," replied Lod. "Alright, well I had better head back to Falkreath," smiled Rhyonir nervously as he walked away. Now back on the road to Falkreath, Rhyonir sighed.

Cornelius turned his head from side to side. He couldn't even speak, for the pain was too much to bare. He slowly raised his aching hand and saw a mixture of slobber and blood slowly drip from it. "Oh.. Argh" He moaned. With his good hand, Cornelius cast a healing spell and waited for the pain to go away. The pain in his hand slowly ceased, and Cornelius finally got his feeling back in his hand. The pain was almost gone, but the cut was still big, messy and fresh. He quickly ran back to the tunnel and reached for one of the miner's backpack. There were no rags in them for Cornelius.

It was hopeless for him, if his hand didn't get medical attention fast, then it would have to be amputated. He then thought about Ondur, for he had a cut far worse that his. Cornelius took out his staff, then tried to cast spells with his good hand. His balance however, was horrible, and none of the ice spikes he cast hit the beast. That was when he saw them. Whilst in the tunnel, he spotted a few men rushing in. By the looks of their armor, he noticed that they were from the imperial army. "Ey!" Cornelius shouted for their attention. "Hey! You have to help us!" he shouted.

Gul'grom hears a cry for help, he rushes to the flank position and knows he must react quickly.
He lays his sword on the ground and tightly grabs his shield. He then throws his shield at the beast,
hoping to catch it's attention away from the mage he just witness attempt to cast a spell. Gul'grom
then quickly yells "FIRE". Gul'grom hopes the people in the house realize that a volley of
arrows were incoming in their direction and take cover. The archers begin to shoot at the
beast hoping to lure it in their direction.
Gul'grom knows the iron arrows that were being shot wouldn't be strong enough to take down the beast
alone. He then picks up his sword, applies the poison that was given to him on the weapon and then
tightly grips the hilt of the sword with both hands. He lets out a deep breath and briefly stares at
his weapon. Gul'grom then gets ready to charge the beast when it makes it move towards the archers.
He hopes to impale the beast so the poison on his weapon could instantly kick in.

Wulf growled at the archers, and felt iron slightly pierce his skin.shrugging them off,he charged, tail fanning out behind him. They must die!The beast within him roared. No!He thought, sending it to the wolf inside him,but he was almost to the men.He roared in fury, and tackled one.The man flailed, repeatedly stabbing his thick fur with a dagger.Wulf bit down hard on the man's neck, tore away, then leapt back. His crimson eyes blazed with hatred, and saliva dripped from his mouth.I am so sorry....He thought, but his werewolf form was howling at the Imperials, hoping to scare them off.He turned on Cornelius, and bit him visiously on the torso. His fangs ached for more blood, and so did the beast.Kill him, then deal with the others.I shall help.It said, and he realized it was a girl! The female wolf stirred within him, taken aback that he finally knew her secret.Good job,my little wolf. She cooed, and Wulf swore that he felt a hand,or paw, stroke his thick, furry head.

Ondur raced over to Cornelius "It's Ok." he said soothingly as he attempted to stave the blood flow. "Listen take this," he said handing Cornelius a potion "That'll do the trick, just rest I'm sure we can handle it." if only Ondur knew the truth then he wouldn't act so cocky. He walked over to the Orc "If you would help us take down the Werwolf would you be our companion, we would certainly need a fighter rather than another mage."

Arsenai marched through the trees away from his most recent quarry, relying on his old sense of direction and nose to lead him to the nearest town for bit of wine and mead. Suddenly the sound of battle reached his ears. He reached for his sword, but then realized that the battle he heard was not the average steel on steel battle. He sprinted forward and looked out from the darkness into a house and down a strange cave to see a group of people fighting a werewolf in its beast form. He pulled out his sword and held up his shield and slowly stepped forward. He wasn't sure which side was the wrong and which was right, but he had fought next to and against werewolves before and knew a little of what to expect from this battle.

Wulf's blood red eyes landed on the newcomer. His lips parted in a growl, and he charged the man.Snapping at the newest fighter, the werewolf darted nimbly, snapping and clawing at the man many times. The creature leapt back, then bolted into the Orc,snarling. His claws grasped for the Orc's flesh, his fangs crying out for flesh.Wulf bit at the thick calf of the Orismer, foam dripping from his mouth.

Arsenai felt blinded by the speed the werewolf came at him. He tried blocking and swinging his sword, but the beast dodged his every effort. He finally relented and went on after the orc. Arsenai checked himself for wounds and sighed in relief at just seeing a few scratches on his armor. He shook himself, knowing now who to fight, and prepared for for his true attack.

Rhyonir walked towards Falkreath and collapsed, grasping his chest. Rhyonir laid himself on some grass and looked towards the sky, "By the Nine, I think I am dying," whimpered Rhyonir. Rhyonir watched as guards passed him and paid no attention to him. When Rhyonir looked around, he saw the Forsworn that was helping them with the Drawings, laughing. Rhyonir laughs too and smiles, "Well played Forsworn, well played." Rhyonir's last breathe passed, Rhyonir was dead.

OOC: I feel that my character has fulfilled his goal, to find the Drawings, now that this has been achieved. I bid you all farewell. Good luck with the Role Play.

Wulf darted from the house, attracting guards attention. He clawed their heads off, then glanced at Rhyonir's newly dead body.It reeked of poison.Grimacing, the werewolf turned around, and lumbered back in.

"Damn it! Somebody's got to do something." he said while the werewolf left for a moment. Arsenai looked around and rested his gaze at a breton being tended to by an altmer. "Hey, any ideas here? I can't get my blade to cut him more than scratches. Do either of you know what to do here?" He looked back to see the beast returning. "By the Nine!"

Wulf gazed at Arsenai, and bared his fangs. He lumbered over to the hole, knowing that he was about to change back.Spotting a cage,he quickly shut himself in,and prayed in his head that they would not kill him.Easy there,my little wolf..The wolf spirit inside him said, and Wulf hanged his head down. His claws itched to meet flesh, but the area around him went fuzzy.Letting out a loud howl,he changed back, opened the door, then pelted out,his Khajiit tail flowing behind him.Gathering his things,he put his armor and bow and arrows back on,then leapt ontop of the house."Oh,by the divines!"He panted, tail flicking. The scratches on his skin were healed as he cast a restoration spell."I never did that in my entire life of killing..."He murmured, then hopped silently off the roof and onto the ground.Glancing around,he peered through the broken door, amber eyes flitting about. His midnight black fur keeping him safe,Wulf crept closer to see if he could listen to anything they were saying,if they talked.

Cornelius was feeling better. He then spotted the khajiit at a distance. He wuuldn't risk the safety of his friends, and knowing of what he did and how he nearly killed them, Cornelius cast a telekinesis spell on him quickly, and raised him in the air. Cornelius had to act quickly before his energy would completely drain. Cornelius then took him further into the cave, and placed him inside the cage and dropped him. He then quickly close the door of the cage. The khajiit was trapped inside.

"Do you know what you've done?!" Cornelius shouted in anger. "You've exposed us to the Forsworn! They'll be here in no time! You've nearly killed us all! Everything we've worked for!" he screamed at him. Cornelius then turned around and saw how hurt all the others were. "I'm sorry" he told the khajiit. "Just get out... I don't... Just go, you have no business in Falkreath" he said, opening the cage for him. "Make sure you don't bother us again" he said in a soft voice. He was too traumatized of what had happened. They were one step ahead of the Forsworn, and all the progress they made was gone.

Wulf winced at the Breton's harsh words.Silently,he slipped out of the cage, went outside, undid the door to the Dead Man's Drink, ignored Valga's shouts of anger, then looked at the remains of the door.Kicking them away,he tore off the rest of the door, then went ahead and locked the door to the house.Opning and closing it,he glanced around, then went back inside. The werewolf gazed at Cornelius, and cocked his head to the side."Fixed the door.I'll go kill a few Forsworn, splatter blood here and there near the door, then place the bodies near it."He meowed, then jogged back out again. He saw some Forsworn coming at him, shouting every insulting word they knew.He got out his ebony swords, marveled at the patterns, then almost danced with the men.Wulf twirled and spun, all the while slashing and cutting with the swords.Soon, the Forsworn were dead.Hauling one body,he slashed it a few times to get the splatters, then layed him near the door.He did the same with the other bodies, then wiped the blood on his cape.Kill them all...The wolf inside him growled, and he snapped at it.No.I will not!Now shut up before I relieve myself of you!Wulf circled around the house, checking for any holes, then darted back in the house. He ran up the stairs, then sat on the bed in the bedroom.Panting, the Khajiit gazed around, spotting some gold septims,a few rubys, and lots of garments."How many garments did the dude need?"He whispered, then leaned back, sighing. He was lucky that the man did not kill him.He had too many things to settle.First, there was Valga to rough up.Then,he was to see if the Jarl of Falkreath would mind if he took some citizens on a little 'vacation.'Wulf's mouth watered at the thought. It would be at Bloated Man's Grotto, where his pack lived. His wolf friends loved him,and had let him lead them to the food-rich area. They never got not enough food,as the rabbits always came in.Wulf sighed again, wishing his life was easier. He got up,walked down the stair, whispered the words'It's okay if you hate me.I am a monster anyway' to Cornelius, then headed to Bloated Man's Grotto.

((OOC: You do know the cave they're in isn't under the inn))

Cornelius face palmed and sighed. "The idea was to be quiet about all of this, not go outside and attract more attention by killing even more people" he told no one in particular. He then turned around, and to his relief saw that Odvan was not killed, and he wasn't gravely injured. "Take your time and rest, then we can talk more about these drawings" he told Odvan. Cornelius then walked back through the tunnel, climbed out of the hole, and saw the dead bodies of the Forsworn. "Oh no..." Cornelius thought aloud as he quickly rushed towards the bodies outside. Luckily there weren't any other Forsworn that saw them.

Cornelius grabbed the bodies and dragged them behind the abandoned house, and into the forest. "Good thing odvan didn't see these" he noted, knowing that Odvan would not help them anymore if he knew that they killed his brethren. Stupid wolf, trying to get the Forsworn to attack again, Cornelius thought. He then suddenly felt sorry for him. Maybe I was too harsh on him, he thought. Cornelius quickly went to Lod's house and bought something. He then placed the object in his backpack. He then heard a couple of forsworn talking while walking out of the inn. Driven by curiosity, Cornelius decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"I'm telling you, those strange people are planning something. They're always inside that weird house, Odvan seemed to follow them around too. But the weirdest thing of all, was the howling. I heard it, I'm telling you!
-Come to think of it, I did hear some noise coming from there. Burdyn and Kaira have gone missing too. You don't think it had anything to do with them, do you?
-You know what I think? I think it's a werewolf, the cat.
-It's not the first one we've encountered. Remember last month?
-I can tell by his smell. He smells like the one we killed.
-I say, we make sure that the last howl he'll be making, is going to be his plea to survive" The two Forsworn smirked and ran back into the inn. Cornelius had mixed feelings. He was happy that they still didn't know what the group was up to, but he didn't want the werewolf to die.

Cornelius quickly ran back to the cave. "Everyone get to know each other, I'm going after the wolf, if anyone wants to come, then meet me at the main road out of town, the left road" he told the others then rushed back out of the house and outside of Falkreath. He was running as fast as he could. "Hey wolfy!" he shouted to Wulf, not knowing what his real name was. He could see Wulf walking way ahead of him.

Taking in a deep breath frost stood up. After resting for a few minutes and taking a bite to eat he was ready to move on. The journey from cyrodill had been tough, especially through the mountains but if his map was accurate the town of falkreath was near by.he was certain that this would be it, the place to make a name for himself, why what better place to become famous then a land already famous for it's dragons? He decided to clime a tree to view the surrounding forest for the town. Upon reaching the top he could see the town not to far away. But something caught his eye, a old Breton shouting after a khajiit 'hey wolfy!' frost smiled, 'skyrim is a strange place' he mutters to himself as he leaps down the tree and begins walking towards them
