Hmm... Gem made a good suggestion that I post brackets w/ Ember's location so it separates her from the rest of the group.

But if I want to post a dream she's having, what should I put for her "location"?? LOL I have a post prepared where she has a dream, then wakes up. But since I'm impatient, I was just gonna post the dream and have the waking up be separate XD
 
Poor Geel :( I'm nervous about what's going to happen to him!

Also, I just randomly noticed while coming to this thread that not only are we the longest RP, but we have 2x the posts of the 2nd longest XD Woot!
 
I think Geel is gaining "sight beyond sight" or DareDevil like sight or maybe his own vision back? can't wait to see what he posts.

Yeah, I've just started in that other RP too. They post slower post slower than this RP but put a lot into character development instead of action. Where this story has gone from one action scene to the next with a little character development. I think I may have rushed them too... which I'm sorry for since I thought their rules for posting ment something I misinterpreted I guess.
 
Definitely didn't mean it in a negative way toward EWM, I just think it's cool that we are so prolific and dedicated XD

Also, I love character development, which is why I'm happy that we've gotten so much of it lately in our RP :D I'm a sucker for character backstories and relationships. I've never read EWM, but I keep hearing good things, and perhaps I'll check it out if it's got a lot of the character stuff I like :)

What do you mean about rushing them? I'm sure whatever it is, it's fine :) You post well and often, so it's not a bad thing in my book ;)

Also, I give credit to people who are able to post in multiple RPs XD I've been considering trying to join a second one with my other RP character I've dreamt up (who is based on my "main" Skyrim character... Khajiit archer/thief :D) but I just imagine myself getting confused or something :p (Not to mention there are no open ones to join that I'm interested in XD)
 
They've just got a different style of play. For example, they've had one big fight in their journey from whiterun to Markarth. Where this story has had three fights and one inter-player scuffle. It's just a differnt style.

I may have rushed them because I'm more used to the style of our RP and not so much the style of theirs which is more character detailed.

I'm actually running the same character in both stories. The difference in timelines helps me keep the stories separate. Plus it's like reading two different books but with the same character.

I was going to base my RP character off of my khajiit archer, but then MrSD mentioned WAY back that a Knight/Warrior was kind of needed... then I started researching Knights in the lore of TES and found the KotN and my character was born. I'm kind of enjoying playing it to the point I started a character in game that is focusing on sword/board/heavy armor/restoration as best as I can to make Geminus in game. :D
 
That's so cool that you just happened to stumble upon the KotN lore and get so interested in it. The character is working really well and is well developed :) It was destiny! :eek:

And as for making a version of your RP-character in game, I loved doing it :D It's fun having a weird connection between Skyrim and the RP, dontcha think? :p (Except in-game Emberlynn cured her Sanguinare Vampiris and is now a werewolf/Harbinger of the Companions... So basically complete opposite of her current situation ;) But I really wanted a werewolf character XD )

It's so weird doing a different play style than you're used to though... not to mention going back down to such a low level XD My Khajiit is level 68, and basically uses light armor, sneak, and archery exclusively.

Then I switch over to Emberlynn, who's currently only level 12, has basically no sneak or archery skill, and relies about 60% on magic, 40% on one-handed (and wears heavy armor). I had almost forgotten what it's like to actually have to charge in and confront enemies face-to-face vs. taking them out at a distance with arrows XD Mixes it up and keeps gameplay interesting though :D

Okay, sorry for my tangent XD I'm gonna go back to prepping my next few posts for the RP :p
 
Yeah I'm having the same difficulties with my new character, he's only lvl 6 now and I have to remember not to agro mobs and to learn to run when he's getting beat up. Not using the other spells is tough too. I've let him do blacksmithing because He'll have to make his armor eventually, and he'll use archery as a means to get one or two baddies where he can get to them or if they're someplace he can't get to right away. I've got to do a lot of blocking too to build that skill up so I can get the arrow block skill and do more damage with that character.

It's difficult not to just run around doing everything and RP in more lol
 
Sorry, stupid rant before going to class.
I'm so happy my boyfriend is back. You don't even know. xD I haven't seen him for over a month.

Ok, I won't go on forever about that, but yeah. Just had to say it. :D And anywho, OH MY GOSH is Geel going to go crazy while getting his sight back?! :eek: Holy crap!

I'll post once I get back from class, when I have a little bit more time to think. :D

And oh my gosh my dragon's wings are growing! Yay!

I *think* my cloud dragon is gonna grow up today sometime :eek: But I'm not sure XD

I can't wait for more people to post so that 1, I can post again ( :P ) and 2, I see what is going to happen (especially w Geel, ahh!)

I saw what you said in the shoutbox Rale, I really hope everything turns out ok. I'm hoping for the best for you and your family.

On a lighter note, I'm taking off for a while, going east for a while (aka my boyfriend's campus). Hopefully Geel doesn't go too insane or anything. :p
 
Can you tell I was bored today? LOL I'm shamelessly advertising us in my sig now XD (Not that I post all that much on other parts of the site anyway :p But oh well XD)

no problem MrSD... should we just write you in and drag you along to Nightsgate?

Shoutbox is the little chat box on the front page on the right... it can be opened full page to see what is going on .
