(Sips coffee) Ahhhhh... It is a good morning now that I have java in my hands. Anywho, Simus, could you help me out before I put a post up? Seeing as "real" me knows nothing about jessicas parents, I can't exactly write anything reassuring for Aden to say to her. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you give me a bit of info about them so that I can give it a go? If not then I think Aden is going to be resigned to being an unseen protector.
And Shaded? How do you want to get things under way now that we have heard... The Noise! (duh duh duh duuuuuuh)

Jessica's dad was an algebra teacher at the Academy that taught what is their equivalent of high school. He was formerly an astronomical engineer for the Empire and was able to teach Jessica a good bit of what she knows about engineering and building, as well as helping her with her math homework. Her mom taught Microbiology at the Academy for upper level students and got Jessica interested in the world of microorganisms, as well as human anatomy and physiology. She taught Jessica how to cook and helped her understand her augmentation and nanomachines in general. Both of them saw Jessica every day during her stay in the mental health ward of the Academy's hospital after she threatened to kill herself three weeks before discovering the Academy's true purpose and trying to escape.
Both of her parents are friends of Marek and have seen the rare sight of him without his armor. As you stated in one of your posts, the last time Marek saw her was when she was ten. He was over at their apartment catching up with Jessica's parents when she came downstairs to say she was thirsty. It was an hour past her bedtime and her parents were a bit surprised to see her. They never intended for her to meet Marek considering his line of work so they had to make an awkward introduction. Jessica asked what Mr. Marek did and her parents stretched the truth as much as possible without actually lying to her. Prior to Jessica's escape, her parents messaged Marek asking her to keep an eye on her since they couldn't. They knew that he could protect her and they trusted him with her life, as well as with a smooth introduction.
Is that enough for you to work with?

Well, I'm fine with you guys all lumping into one big loving group, for now, anyways. Baneloth, Blackwhite1223, maybe you two could work together, and maybe Xzavier is drawn by Galens' sniper proficiency, and follows, maybe to make friends, maybe to take out a rival. By then I'll have thought of something that makes more sense.

Fine. I was originally planning on having Derek go with the group, but I think having one bounty hunter 'looking after you' is risky. Having two is dangerous. Having three is suicide. So I think it would be good for Galen and Derek to team up. Both of them seem to have the same code of honour/ morals.

Sounds like a plan. Like I said in my last post, it's only the scum bag bounty hunters Galen doesn't like. He probably won't trust Derek right away, but eventually they might make a good team. That is, if Shaded doesn't have whatever is on the station eat one of us...

Well, I'm pretty sure if Galen finds out Xzavier is an assassin, he'll do his best to kill him. Or maybe something could happen that forces all three of them to work together? As for waking him up, maybe he hears Galen and Derek making plans to leave? BTW, should I post next?
