that question gets asked so much, you should include a how to at the beginning of your guide on unlocking the shouts

I know it was supposed to be just a location guide but I will include it in the guide in hopes of stopping it from being a question.

Maybe stupid question, but, and I am at work, so I don't have the exact level etc with me...to get through the three iron gates to get the horn, after seeing the graybeards, I know there are three stones that you pass to open the gates, but after you leave tha area, they close. I am thinking the whirlwind shout would be needed, ok, I do that but my character stops right before the gates and won't go through, thus wasting time and the gates close. any ideas?

Keep trying, I've done that quest 10 times & the last time it took ages. It's just a matter of timing, just keep trying & you will succeed.

I got right to the edge and whirlwinded out of there. course I only have two character my main and a test one.
And only My main has been there.

Bulu, you need to go kill a dragon. You will automatically absorb the soul, and then you must spend the soul to activate the shout.

To get the gamer achievement, must I max all three words of all 20 shouts?

No you only need to learn one of each type... But I Will confirm this when I get home from work

For those gates, run, not sprint, past them then use whirlwind
