Skill priorities for a battlemage

I'm a Nord Battlemage. Yeah I know, not the best race, but I love Nords and can't imagine playing anything else. And luckily; Skyrim is more forgiving on race/"class" combo choice than Oblivion was.

I'm not sure how many skills I can focuse on before I become "jack of all trades, master of none". My priorities so far have been:

* Destruction
* Restoration

* One hand weapon
* Heavy Armor (is heavy armor useless for someone who wields magic 50 % of the time though, I remember in Oblivion I did less spell damage with heavy armor on)

* Alchemy
* Enchanting

Anyone with any tips? I used to play WoW, so I'm extremely spoilt with finding tons of information and hard facts on the internet.. So this "stumbling around in the dark", not knowing what is best, is kinda annoying, hehe

High elf is the better choice for battle mage, thats what i picked anyway, and in the elder scrol games imm always a battle mage, even know In oblivion with its custom spells and enchantments it was easy to be mage/warrior.

In skyrim though i have hardly swung a weapon and have only gloves and shoes for armor. I wear robesand a mask. I am arch mage of the collage now also, if you want a spoiler ill tell you what you get for thelast mission(invaluable if you are concetrating on a mage). also i have only upgraded health twice and stamina once the rest have been on magika along with most of my perks(destruction, restoration, summoning.

My magika is about 360 and when it depletes it recharges full in under 10 secs and when i use high elf highborn ability it refills in a few seconds. Only dragons qnd bosses can give me a run for my money atm.

So i suggest if you wan to be powerfull buy good spells (chain lightnng and fireballs are my fav), upgrade destruction alot (im at about 65 now so i am able tosend perks highrler upthe tree) also dual cast is a must. And getas much magika and restore magika fast items as you can.
