Why is it that 80% of my characters are nords? Is it that they are simply awesome or do I feel that since this is Skyrim I must be a nord? Its funny because I never used them in Oblivion or Morowind. I'm just a nord lover plain and simple and easily my favourite race, am I the only one who feels this way? I think if I was a Skyrim character I would be Ulfric Stormcloak.

I have restart-itis and have made about 20 characters or so now... played every race except Khajiit and Bosmer. Everyone must be asking "but how can you sneak and be an archer!?" Well, I do that with High Elves, Orcs, and Bretons. I have become partial to Breton for their magic resistance and daily power, High Elf because of their extra height, means I don't spend as much time walking places, and Orc because of their super daily power.
If this is for RolePlaying purposes, it's because Nord seems like a good race to be the Dragonborn. Live in Skyrim, be a Nord, do the Main Quest, slay Alduin. The Nord 50% Frost resist is good for warrior-type characters too. I just see the Nords as a little bit more racist than the other races (Thalmor aside), and I don't much like that.

My first two characters in Skyrim were Bretons. They're my favorite race and I wasn't interested in playing an Elf just yet.
But, Skyrim really made me appreciate Nords so I rolled a few--an archer, battlemage and a warrior. What I like about Ulfric Stormcloak is yeah, his cause is honorable enough until you get to Windhelm. Doesn't look fun to live in the Gray Quarter or by the docks.

Yea ulfric is all about skyrim for the nords,but other than that he's a d**k lol but I mainly play as a nord anyway so screw the grey quarter, but my best character so far is nord mage specialising in frost spells, the other reason I like nords is because I can't imagine a bosmer swinging my daedric warhammer

I usually stick to the Beast Races, or occasionally a Mer. Seriously, who wants to be a boring human character in a Role Playing game? I sure as hell don't. The only time I've played a human race is for specific Role Playing by implementing one of my own characters into the world of Skyrim. If I had to pick a human race, Imperial for the win. They are so versatile.

Yeah, Imperials and Bretons FTW. My first play-through was with an Imperial, which was awesome on many levels. Been playing a Breton since then. I never had the slightest desire to play as a Nord, and will likely not do so until I have the urge to play as one of every race. Which may happen at some point. But I won't be a Nord before then. They do nothing for me interest-wise, except the few that do.
The Imperials have long fascinated me for the Roman echoes and Bretons I have come to love for their unique traits. Not knocking the Nords as a race, they just don't call to me like the others do.

What is an inferior race? Because I've never come across one of those. Honestly, I don't think an Inferior race exists. I wonder what kind of stats and abilities they have.

Sometimes in high school cross country, they had the 5K Inferior Race. I was in it. Cuz I run like a fat kid.
