One of my very few modding ambitions (Assassins creed guild, SAO armor and this) is to create a game in Skyrim engine (Aincrad) is resembling the SAO world except it would have to be different to avoid copyright.

What do you think if I created Aincrad from SAO?

Maybe just spell Aincrad differently, like for example, Eincrid or something idk. And use that for a name.

Maybe try looking into other languages? I usually turn to latin or galic for names (take a word or something with a sound and meaning I like, and maybe change it slightly). There are also many fantasy name generators out there.

That's what I do. I think of words that would fit whatever I'm making (character, place, animal.....) and look up that word in different languages and pick the one that sounds and fits the best. Just a couple I've done are Rhew (frost) and Aigean (ocean), which are Welsh and Irish respectively.
