OOC The Aldmeri offensive (OOC and charecter card)

Also, I was definitely going for the special forces Elf hunters, but I figured they would need to distinguish themselves in battles. How this battle would take place I don't know?

Markarth is the biggest producer of silver in all of Skyrim, I figured the Aldmeri would attack there to get a valuable resource.

I'm pretty sure that there are other silver mines in Skyrim... but I'm not going to go look for them now... LOL

from a tactical point of view though... Markarth would be the worst place to start... it's behind a high stone wall and practically buried in the side of a mountain with a very narrow approach path...

Solitude on the other hand can be attacked from many directions. A naval blockade with bombardment ships (ships rigged with catapults... It could be done), attack from the marsh up the sided of the palace... attacks over the mountain from the Embassy direction... frontal attack up the road... (stormcloaks do that with catapults near the stables).

However... it is your game... I'm just offering suggestions :D

Start the group off fighting the raiding/scouting party that attacks at Northwatch Keep... where they find some important person in the dungeon cells.

Okay, perhaps we could win a doomed battle of Solitude? All characters called to immediate duty in the Legion army at Solitude in defense against the Aldmeri invaders? could make it work.

It's actually kind of confusing because if they don't attack Solitude the Embassy would likely be destroyed and if they don't attack Markarth their presence there would be annihilated. Maybe we make this more interesting, the Aldmeri offer Forsworn freedom in exchange for service. Gah, too many options.
I'll just let Sal decide these final, rather unimportant details.

Also, feel free to join my thread,The Return of the Werewolves. You all will be accepted automaticly, and Gemini and skyrim will be able to accept others when I am not on.But be sure to read the card,as I do.

She wears simple leather lowcut pants, boots and a large white shawl that leaves her shoulders and midriff exposed but completely covering her torso and hiding her lute, small array of weapons and travel gear.
Class: A Rogue with training in Alteration and a degree from the Bards College
Weapons: Two Elven Daggers and a Wooden Bow
Armor:
Personality: Said to be like an old soul in a young body although she can become quite playful at times. She loves playing her instruments and pondering philosophical ideas. She can usually be found either honing her fighting prowess or honing her love for the Lute.
Misc:

Ok one thing I dont understand. Are the Bosmer (wood elves) and the Thalmor (high elves) working together to conquer skyrim or are there 2 seperate groups.
And are the stormcloaks and the imperials working together to defend skyrim, I think this one is true and if so where is the main command post (main base), Solitude or Windhelm?

Yes Skyrimbeast, the Aldmeri Dominion is invading which implies all provinces under high elven control. And the Stormcloaks and Imperials are working together and the main command post is Solitude as Solitude is the agreed upon capital of Skyrim after all.

Well, if you still wanna get this going and we can get enough people back together, I'd be glad to try to start this again.
