Open The Bannered Mare Tavern

"The Khajiit seems worthy, and perhaps even the mage. I can handle the mage if it turns to violence." Salthar laughed unpleasantly, "After all, searching for powerful artifacts often encourages....strife" he said, still smiling a little. Catching the mages' eye, the one that looked maybe forty years old, with a scratch across his cheek, he gestured him over. "Now we'll see if he is interested, you speak with the Khajiit"

Drapor smiled at the word of violence "Ya..Strife" Drapor laughed "The khajit seems shady, but i will talk to her" Drapor took the last sipps of his mead and walked of the khajit

Salthar nodded, and glanced at Ysarth. While he waited for the mage to come over to their table "If the mage turns out to be trouble, keep an eye on the vampire hunter, will you?" He hoped he could trust his brother elf to assist him if he had to kill the mage. It would be more than a little irritating to dodge the Dawnguards' crossbow bolts while he fought the mage.

Indicum's eyes bolted open but he didn'y get up. No puke and only a minor headache. The elves where moving, the nord who he had largely forgotten was being watched as Lord You-Need-New-Pants confronted the mage looking fellow. He got ready to use his Voice of the Emporer. With these men he decided the only interest he wanted was to be hired. He slowly raised himself so he could see the entire tavern. A quick shot of skooma and Indicum waited for the show to start.

Salthar glanced over at the man in a corner that had spoken to Drapor a moment ago. The man was in a prime position to watch the entire room without really moving. 'maybe he's one of the few smart humans'
He wondered.

Drapor looked back to see the man "he is moving around the room" drapor thought as wen't to confront the khajit. "This better work" Drapor wispered to himself

Indicum shivered. That Altmer in the black robes had noted him, he hadn't turned his head, but Indicum knew somehow he was marked. Indicum knew if rational fear can make it through the skooma haze, he was in even more over his head than that young bosmer he messed with earlier. Looking through out the tavern some how he knew that one was powerful, and Indicum knew there are people you don't mess with Archmages, that Dragonborn fellow, the Companions, and he added this guy to the list. God, Indicum thought, maybe I should try and pay off my bounty in Solitude the bards could use a mind like mine. Indicum just grabbed an empty mead bottle and laughed like a drunkard, hoping he could escape notice, But he felt in his gut the one person whose notice he wanted to avoid wouldn't forget where he was.

Salthar marked the mans' position in his mind. He might have a few words for the Imperial shortly, but settled for simply calling the barmaid over for a refill of his goblet. If nothing else, the man might provide a solution to the blood-lust he could feel rising with in him. While he was more disciplined than younger vampires, he needed to feed, and soon. Then again, he didn't want to be seen dissapearing with another person while the Dawnguard was in the room.

"hello khajit" Drapor said "may i have a minute" as he sat down "can you take a look at this book, Its called auriels bow" The khajit's eyes widened "by the way, Im drapor" he said

OOC: Damn I was really busy today...I missed ALOT.

Galten sat silently at his seat, thinking, ignoring much of what was going on around him. The Altmer claims he isn't a vampire, but I don't believe him. I'll just wait and see how all this plays out. Galten watched suspiciously as the Bosmer and Altmer walked into a back room, followed by another Altmer. He waited for them to come out and listened to their conversation. His hearing was better than most people, a trait he gained when he was a vampire, and he seemed to keep though he was cured. Auriel's bow...hmm. Galten watched as Drapor confronted a Khajiit and took the chance to chat with Salthar. Couldn't help but overhear that your company was going off on a grand adventure! It would be my honor to accompany you, and assist in any way I can! The vampires outside of Whiterun that Isran warned him about had to wait, Galten suspected that this will lead to something even more important.

Drapor looked at galten aproaching salthar This won't be good, but on they other hand he could be a powerful ally for the adventure, But so could the khajit. "So, are you interested?" Drapor asked

((If you're referring to my Khajiit, she's already gone, as is the mage.

Also, I think there should be a thread for Jorrvaskr, since it's its own tavern, of a sort. Well, mead hall, but that's basically the same thing, just with a feast involved.))

Titus Draconis walked up the stairs to the tavern, pausing shortly to take his helmet off and run a hand through his hair. Opening the door and stepping in, he stood in the door frame for a moment, allowing his eyes to adjust to the change in lighting. He surveyed the room, all the while blocking the only way in or out of the establishment.

He noticed a Khajit, a human, and multiple elves tossing glances at one another. "Multiple mages in the same room, this should be interesting." he thought to himself. Glancing around the room he saw the perfect spot to sit - an empty table directly to the left of the entrance. Making his way over there, he repositioned the chair to sit directly in the corner. "Always sit in a corner, make sure all potential threats are in front of you." Something he learned long ago that has served him well ever since.

Sitting down, he placed his shield on a peg on the wall beside of him, and motioned for a drink, which was brought to him. Sitting back in the shadows of the corner, he took a drink, swallowed, and observed the situation around him silently.

As Swole The Wise steps of the carriage in front of whiterun he pays the horseman and walks towards the gate anxious to find a new life in skyrim.

Amanti stepped through the door of The Bannered Mare, the smell of ale and fresh cooked meat wafted in the air. She walks over to the the nearest chair warming her cold hands on the fire raging in the middle. Settling back she listens in on the interesting conversation going on behind her

Titus looks up as the woman enters the room, noticing her catlike grace in moving towards the fire pit, he instinctively checks the gold in his pocket. His back to the corner he has the perfect angle to keep an eye on the newcomer along with the elves.

Amanti noticed the man in the corner, his instinct serves him well but she was not after gold tonight. Tonight was a night for relaxation and the suspicious group of elves in on the far side of the tavern was not helping. She tried to drown out the background sounds of the tavern and focused her attention towards the group of elves

Titus motions for another drink, and as the barmaid brings it over to him, he whispers in her ear, "That one right there" nodding his head slightly towards the newcomer, "tell her when she has finished warming her hands by the fire, that there's a better vantage point to watch the elves over here."

The barmaid makes her way over to Amanti's chair near the fire, after relaying the man's message, Amanti nods and stands up. She walks carefully and casually over to the man. "Interesting group, are they not?" Patting down the folds on her dress, Amanti sits next to the man.
