the dragon cult quest, does anyone find this quest hard?

Rahgot is one of my favorite Dragon Priest Masks. That, the Staff of the Fire Wall, and Stormcall word make it so worth it.

But yeah, Forelhost is one of the longest, hardest, (ahem) dungeons in the Vanilla game.

It's one of my favorites for sure.

To be sure, the lowest level I've ever completed it at is 5, and what with all the Wights, and Scourges, I gained several in Experience at the time. It helps to be a Breton with the Atronach Stone, but save Dragonskin for the end.

Every fantasy RPG I have played has it's one or two "Tomb of Horrors" wanna-be quests.

Forelhost (and Ansilvund) are Skyrim's TOH wanna-bes... and they are both very well done.

The Deathlords on the Bard quest do that disarm pl***e. I bring spare weapons, but sometimes I can't find my weapons afterwards. That. Sucks.

I end up with spare weapons through looting, so that is a bit of helpful advise, I guess. "Leave no stone unturned"

Just don't get married to your gear. Count on losing that SuperSoaker Sword at some point.

Also, Bound Swords can't be Disarmed. If you do have that one sword you don't want to lose, Mystic Binding makes for a reasonable substitute just for the Deathlords who seem to delight in Spamming that Shout. Too bad there's not a 2 handed spell that isn't glitcheriffic. I'd love Bound Battleaxe if it actually worked.

also, I had this massive dragon preist and 5 draugr's coming at me, at the end of the level.

I stood back and just fired dwarven bolts at this massive dragon preist,and almost got blasted away by fire balls.

I killed the dragon preist in the end.

I just summoned dremora to tank the deathlords and used harkons sword and dawnbreaker. The dual power attack kills priests in 2 minutes or less(depending on 1h lvl).

I've done that quest at level 10 before, easy peasy.

I struggle with this one sometimes. it's one of the few quests I take a follower with me on, and I always take Mjoll since she can't die. It's all those Deathlords and Frost spiking/Antioch summoning Scourages.
