I would say yes, but he'd definitely be a bit more defensive in his questions/responses.

Is it also fine if we have them stop at the Temple of Talos before they take off afterwards? Only seems right Dumas visits being all religious-y and what-not

Probably, but it could be revived if the people that haven't posted intros posted their intros and then continued to write.
