Hey there, and welcome to our roleplaying section. Please take some time to read two of these useful resources below, if you're already a roleplaying expert, then there's no need to read the following beginner's guide, but be sure to read the rules.
You should do the recruit a friend bonus. You can still do it, up to 30 days after you create an account. Because that 300% XP boost when you're leveling together is really something.
Yes, the animals I am catching are in fact dinosaurs. MSU has its own time machine on campus. We travel in it weekly. I'm planning on going back in time and making the Washington Redskins mascot a potato, not the Native American group. Will help prevent a lot of controversy.
On a more serious note, I am going electrofishing this Friday for research purposes. I fluffing cannot wait. Should be awesome. I also now know how to identify 30 different plants and how to cook Chicken of the Forest into a delicious snack.
I am also probably quitting my job. The chlorine in the pool is having some side effects on my health that I am not going to screw around with. Which means I will have more time between school, football, sports, and football, to write RP posts. Eventually. I'll get to that post.
Moving out of grumpy's place? Or just moving someplace else?
I'm here, but I have been avoiding my obligation and duty to make the next post. In my defense, I have been having follow-ups with various docs concerning my fun little adventure with brain surgery earlier this year.
Moving from my parents into grumpy's. We had planned on renting a new place because he's living with a couple atm. But I can't deal with the commute and finding a flat is a pain so I'm moving in with them.
Also I swear you're the only person I know who would ever call brain surgery fun. Sarcasm or no. Speaking of, everything okay?
I've been busy with school starting back up, plus taking piano lessons. I took them when I was younger and hated it, but now that I actually want to play I can hardly find time to practice!
Hurrah! Or hurray? Shows that I've been gone too long.
It wasn't BAF or some other forum that made me quite coming here. In fact, I kinda left BAF when it fell apart. So, in general, it wasn't the internet in any way. I suppose if I had to come up with an excuse, it'd be life pulling me away. But honestly, I didn't come back to tell some excuse or say that I'll join some new RP here or something. Because if I say that, I know right now that I'll end up just leaving that again as well. I suppose it was just a gradual decline in interest. I haven't played Skyrim seriously since it came out in '11. And even though I loved RPing here and chatting with you guys in this thread, it was never enough to make me come back permanently. Even more so after things started going downhill. So I guess this is a 'what's up' and a goodbye post in one. Not that I came back to try and gain pity or anything stupid like that. Just letting you guys know officially (If it wasn't readable before) that I've made up my mind about this site. So I guess that's it. Thanks for the fun times. Maybe y'all will see me around the internet some day by coincidence. (You might have figured out already, but Rextoret is my username for just about everything.) I probably won't come back to this site ever again except to get nostalgic by looking at the old threads. I'd say I'd like to come back and chat from time to time, but I'd honestly just feel burdened by it. They say you become like the 5 people you hang out most with. And for probably about half a year, you guys were the ones I hanged out with most. So I guess a little of y'all rubbed off on me (Maybe some a bit more than others), or some of that sentimental whatnot. You get the point. I didn't want to write some huge wall of text and get all deep, but it happened anyway. Thanks again. Rex out.
If this is goodbye, we're gonna miss you. You were here from the very beginning, and when you used to be more active we had good times indeed, and even when you weren't so active, the coming of Rex was like Christmas (if Christmas was once a month and was on an unknown date). I think that for any positive effect we had on you, you reciprocated, and I'll always remember you as Garrus (feel free to drop by in two years all covered in battle scars and with a drinking problem) and the guy who made me think that maybe anime's not so bad. So bye Rex, it's been a good time.
Damn. I can't really think of anything to say besides that. It's been a great run and though I showed up late and wasn't here from the start, it still sucks to see you go for good, despite all the unexpected, extended leave of absences you took. Later, man. Hopefully I'll see you around somewhere else on the wide inter webs.
Rex: let me know if I can friend you on steam or something. I just started over with a new PC and new steam account. We can play TF2 or something. Because that's the only thing I have on that account.
Loved hangin' with ya.
That goes for y'all. PM me if you want my new-ish steam ID.
ALSO THANKS FOR THE REP. NO ONE REP ME NOW. I WANT TO KEEP IT AT 69.
If anyone reps you gimme their name and they'll learn to regret their actions.
Or maybe I'll just sternly wag my finger at them idk.
Rex: it was awesome hanging with you man. I was going to tell you about the anime guy at work. He basically reiterated all the things you told me. I'm going to start watching Cowboy Beebop soon. I'll miss ya pal.
