I'm on my third playthrough and I just finished Blindsighted and man, the drop-off after that is brutal. Like, you get this perfect crescendo with Mercer Frey, the Skeleton Key, Karliah coming back, all of it lands. And then Trinity Restored is just... radiant jobs forever? I get that it's supposed to be about restoring the guild to power but it feels like the narrative just evaporates.
Compare that to the Dark Brotherhood where you're still getting actual story beats all the way through, or even the Companions where you at least get a solid endgame with Kodlak. The Thieves Guild should have more meat on those bones after Blindsighted. You've just uncovered this massive conspiracy, Mercer was basically running the guild into the ground, and then it's like "cool, now go steal some stuff for random people."
Am I the only one who feels cheated by this? Because Blindsighted is genuinely one of the best quests in the game and it makes everything after feel hollow.
