Quest Thieves Guild city influence quests

Do the 5 small jobs one has to do in each city to trigger the influence quest for that city have to be different types, or in theory could someone do 5 jobs of the SAME type in one city (e. g. 5 bedlam jobs or 5 shill jobs, etc ...) ? I mean sure, it takes a hell of a lot of quitting and reloading for that to come up but I find specific types of jobs a LOT easier to do in certain cities -- especially SOLITUDE.

[Edit - through trial & error figured this one out -- did 5 bedlam jobs for Markarth ... worked fine.]

The answer is, yes! You can do 5 jobs of any type in any major city. My character I have now is versatile and can complete any type of job easily and without getting caught. I always cycle through all 7 types of jobs, (burglary, shill, heist, and sweep jobs with vex, and numbers, bedlam, and fishing with delvin) and I will save my game right before asking for a new job, in case I am given a job in riften, or in a major city I have completed the influence quest in. I would recommend taking the bedlam jobs as sparingly as possible, only because once you steal items from a hold, they will never respawn (or if they do, it takes a very long time, I don't know which is true.)

Interesting thing I found out ... Got a city that's modded in (like Florin in Midwood Isle) ? Yup. Game can ask you to do a job there (again, like Riften and Whiterun, doesn't count.) I think it's something about the way the game determines what's a city.

(Also, bedlam jobs are the easiest! Some of the spell scrolls are 500 gold each ... one item, and DONE.)
As for respawns, merchants usually respawn in 2 days. About the only thing I *HAVEN'T* tried doing is looting the 'secret chests' - like the famous one in Dawnstar!
