Thieves Guild Weird Thing Blocking Entrance or Something?

Well I was joining the thieves guild and got in the ratway. I did that quest went back in the ratway talked to the guy he showed me to a big thieves guild room thing. Then i accept this quest to burn down a house or something. I look at the quest thing on my compass bar thing and it shows me where to get out of there and when i got to this weird ladder that led to a trapdoor thing i opened it then i was in riften.Then there was stairs that were blocked with a flat ground thing and i wasnt able to get through it. Is this a glitch or something? Is there a way to get through it? Please help me if you get what im talking about.

Look to your right. There is a chain with a loop st the end hanging from the wall. Pull it up and the false floor will recede. When returning to this location, press the button on the front of the sarcophagus to open again.

Don't worry it took me almost 5 mins of searching to find the button to get back in.
