Vampirism. Is it worth it?

Jamirus

Eater of random alchemy ingredients
I'm playing as a Dark, evil mage and the perfect thing to go along with that is vampirism. I have a small list of pro's and con's.

Pro:
Many of the spells and enhancements that come with are good
It suits my character
Frost resistance. A lot of it

Con:
Weakness to fire and the sun
I have to feed regularly, kinda like taking zombrex.
Constantly attacked at stage 4

Without Dawnguard installed Vampirism starts to get tedious...however there are still perks to a non-Vampire Lord. The added sneak/illusion benefits helps the assassin type mages, The Fire weakness can be combated by enchantments, or if you're a Dunmer the natural resistance to it. (They make the best vamps IMHO). Followers can be made to sleep so you can feed off them if necessary. All in all it can be fun and helpful or tedious and costly all depending on how you play your character.
I'd say to try it out for a bit if you don't like it go get it cured by Falion.
