What Do You Hate About Skyrim

1. People repeat themselves constantly, im tired of hearing "Do you get to the cloud district very often" every time i walk by Nazeem.
2. The glitches, so many glitches.
3. No hand to hand skill tree, or acrobatics skill tree, i feel like those would have been useful.
4. The final boss, might just be me but Alduin is actually weaker than legendary/revered dragons. I feel like he should be the strongest one.

How much time I have spent playing this game when I have other things I really should be doing. But Skyrim calls to me. I also hate how people will say the same things over and over and over and over. Freezing, I can't stand the freezes.

The long loading screens. They are part of the reason I don't like to Fast Travel as much anymore since before, when I FT'd a lot, I was waiting for the game to load more than I was actually playing the game. I have actually developed the habit of measuring the quickest way to get to somewhere based solely on how many loading screens I have to sit through rather than the actual distance. I hate going to the Ragged Flagon since it's two loading screens no matter which way I go.

I also miss the hand-to-hand. I am not a fan of certain questlines. But the DLCs are somewhat good, for the most part. I almost forgot about acrobatics...I think that having the ability to escape or to climb into windows would be excellent

What I hate about skyrim is how the weapon racks never seem to work for me. I lost Mehrune's Razor in my ceiling after setting it in one of those.

No I just don't like having to repeatedly buy soul gems, I guess.

You could just go around killing a lot of giants, mammoths and people and fill up some greater, grand & black soul gems. That's what I do. It's fun, and good exercise!

I just did that! There are currently no giants or mammoths in Skyrim. I'm loading up for the Alduin quest, at which point my character will retire.

NONE! Wow! You must have gone on some hunting spree! Did you get all of them up in the thermals outside of Windhelm too? You're good! You go grrrlll!

I HATE THE F#CKING TERRAIN.

Skyrim is a mountainous region, and every mountain in the game is a complete bitch. You stray from the path to try taking a shortcut to your destination, because it looks like you can easily jump your way up the mountain slope, only to realise that it's not gonna happen, and you end up getting lost and losing sight of your follower as well. Or there are rocks that you can unrealistically hop, skip and jump your way around, and you end up reaching your destination by dropping down from some cliff and thinking "how the hell was I supposed to get here then?" I really wish they did what billions of other RPGs have done, and just create rocky terrain that you simply can not walk on, and just limit the passages you can use to reach certain places. Or, give us some sort of climbing game mechanic that we can use to scramble over rocks, instead of casually stepping down a cliff like it's some sort of stair case.

I HATE NPCs RANDOMLY SAYING SH!T TO ME EVERY TIME I GO NEAR THEM

Totally unnecessary, it doesn't add realism and it gets on my nerves. I use the enchantment table next to Viola's stall, and she stands there saying "Do you want something? Speak quickly." while I'm working on enchantments. Yes, love, I want you to shut the f#ck up. And sometimes the guards randomly mention places to you that show up on your map so you've got new areas in mind to explore - but I often miss the info because they're saying it in passing when I'm likely to be distracted by something else, and there's no way to get them to repeat it.
I don't mind the shopkeepers giving their sales pitches in the market place, or the guards commenting on my weapons and armour when I walk by - that's all fine, but people acting like you're bothering them when you're minding your own business is a pain in the ass. What's wrong with having it like in other RPGs where NPCs only talk to you when you activate them?

It always bugged me how even when I was just passing by people, they had to make some snarky comment at me and go out of their way to be extremely rude, when all I did was walk by them and not even shoot a glance at them. I'm telling you, the majority of people in Skyrim are so rude and unkind that I had no regrets when I went on my killing spree in every city. I sat there and thought, "Gee, I never realized how much I hated all these people until now!"

I think Maven is a really interesting character - when she's not bothering me by accusing me of bothering her.

And there are also times when NPCs start having conversations with each other in the streets when they cross paths, which I think is really cool, because we get to find out how they interact with each other instead of it being me as the center of attention all the time. But I always miss all the drama because I've got some other moron yapping a sentence that I've heard 5000 times in my ear while I'm trying to listen. Gimme a break!

It's pretty bad when Oblivion's NPC interactions are better than Skyrim's

I hate how we can't have Legate Fasendil as a follower. All of that beautiful potential dialogue out of the window. Is it so wrong that I would love to take him around with me wherever I went just so I could hear his comments in that manly voice of his. He more dialogue than 90% of the NPCs and his dialogue is actually pretty interesting.

indeed...I feels as though the interactions and dialogue should be more dynamic than it currently is. If I have amazing bounties on my head shouldn't some of the "criminals" welcome me?
