OOC What Lurks in the Dark

Okay. So there's a different chick then.

Don't worry, I'm not bringing in a new character.

could i start near riverwood and then try to investigate, eventually leading thomas to the group over in whiterun? i could try saving that dorthe girl alice saw in the vision...

ill be posting for fading hope for a bit.

If you do do that, I'd prefer you start outside of Riverwood, and make your way to Whiterun

Aliah, you want anyone to know about this new girl that with Farengar? Like one of us walks' in on them or something?

No. She might not be a new char. But I don't want any of the group knowing about her just yet.

Okay ive posted.
BTW, because changing text colour on my tablet dosent work:mad: thomas'es dialouge will be a mix of Bold and itallic until i can get back to my PC.
  1. sorry for the mild inconvienience. i usually go for crimson
  2. wait its working!

I will wait until the ones coming with us to the crypts post Aethalia. That way they can catch up and react to you telling them to come with us.

Okay, so I've decided there'll be several different versions of these creatures. The pack ones that wasted Riverwood, who are pretty much like goblins from LOTR. Weak, but vicious. Pretty much useless in one on one combat.

Then there are infiltrators, which is what the Lost fought in the crypts. They're tougher than the others, and slightly stronger as well. We'll say decapitations and arrows to the skull work best on them. Oh, and if any of you comes up with some thing-a ma-bob-gun thing, I'm going to kick your asses six ways from Sunday.

Then there are soldiers, which is pretty much what I described the leader of the hunting party that wasted Riverwood as. They're strong, smart, and will eventually be able to use weapons. Think of them as elite orcs or Uruk-Hai from LOTR.

I'm thinking of introducing some sort of troll hybrid monster as well, but that's way later on. And a few other...surprises. Anyone heard of...indoctrination? http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Indoctrination Something like this. Except magical, instead of electronic.

i think thomas is fighting about half a dozen pack creatures over near riverwood. he's not one of those 'bad-ass' fighters like shadari or salthar, but hes not completely helpless either. thats why im waiting for some guards. any day now...

Say willowwisp, Elizabeth changed before going into the Hall of the Dead right? Be funny if she was fighting he'll spawn in her footy pajamas :D

Do I need to post or should I wait on Simus? I think I should wait on Simus to reach the Underforge but I'll post if you want/need me to.

Hey guys, sorry for being absent. Life and Pharmacy Tech stuff have gotten in the way and I've had other RP's to juggle. Plus, writing is just hard some days. So from what I understand, Aliah, Shadari, The Lost, Elizabeth, Salthar and Avarain are in the Hall of the Dead looking for gremlins, Thomas is with Dorthe and a few guards getting ready to beat up some gremlins in Riverwood and Toren and Auguste are...where exactly?

As for me, you guys need me to take Simus, Donath and Juilus to the underforge and lead the Companions into bloody battle to save Riverwood, yes? I'm not sure what to do with Alice and Cilla at the moment. Any ideas where they could be put to use?

Okay, so, Salthar, Elizabeth, and Torin are outside the Hall of the dead.

Aliah, Shadari, The Lost, and Averain are inside the crypt fighting the 'Twisted' as Kir calls them.

Baneloth and Julius are in the Bannered Mare still.

Auguste is waiting for Simus in the Underforge. I don't see the point of the companions rushing off to Riverwood. I think Rakinson is just using the creatures as a way to enter the RP, since the vast majority of them are gone, and the only survivor is Dorthe.

The attack on Riverwood. Perhaps some of the companions have been keeping tabs on the disappearances? In game, they travel all over Skyrim.

Okay, sure. Between the disappearances and the nearly total slaughter of Riverwood, they've put two and two together and have decided to do something about it. The members of The Circle would make excellent trackers in beast form and could work with the human members to ambush and slaughter the creatures.
