Open When in Skyrim, Do As The...?

Rath nods. After she leaves he shakes his head. Rumare sat at the table seemingly lost in though. He decides not to bother him. Looking across the room Rath sees two Nords sitting at a table in deep conversation. "Heh heh, This'll be fun." He lifts his hand removing pushing up the sleeve of his robe. Rath rests his hand on the table and looks away. A loaf of bread on the table the Nords are sitting at begins to rise. "The bears ar.... Gods! What's going on!?" the Nords jump up spilling their drinks. "Run! This place is haunted." The bread smacks one of the Nords in the face. The two Nords scramble out the door screaming. The bread loaf falls to the table. Rath bursts out laughing.

Myra turns around after speaking with the owner to see what the commotion is about, and walks back over to the table. "Rath, come on. One of them is going to come back and beat you within an inch of your life, and i'm not going to help you. Anyway, there's a problem. We've been booked a community room. Four beds, one room. It's not too much of a problem for you two, but for me... I'll just change in the bathing room. At least we have a personal tub, so we don't have to share with anyone we don't know. I know where you've all been, and am fairly certain you won't try anything, but someone else..." Myra shuddered. "Anyway, we'd better get out things upstairs. I'm not sure if I trust the people here to not steal from us while we're hammered."

Rath Laughs and gives Myra a toothy grin. "Fine. I'll play with the meat later." Rath stands up grabbing his bags. Rumare does the same. "We got a personal tub? Nice. I need a bath. Don't worry no one well mess with you, and if they do, I'll make sure they live to regret it... Lead the way."

Myra led everyone to the room, underneath the storage room, which was underneath the first floor. Considering the weather, that was a luxury. She opened a door down a long dimly lit hallway, and pushed it open. It was more comfortable looking than she had expected. The walls were stone, but had been painted with red and blue, and the ceiling and floor were layered wood under stone. She assumed there were more rooms and floors underneath them. There were four beds, like the Inkeeper said, and each had both skins and blankets, though they were straw under sheets. A desk sat in the corner, with books scattered and piled all over. An adjoining door led to the bathroom, which had a stack of clean chamberpots and a stone bath. Clearly, the leader had spared no expense for their lodging. "What a nice place to sleep! I was anticipating a drafty attic room!", she said happily, putting her luggage down next to a bed. There were only a few lights in the room, so she cast a few magelight spells at the walls and ceiling, and the room brightened significantly.

Rath let out a whistle. "Nice." He walked over to the bed next to the desk. "I guess I'll sleep here."
Setting his bags on the floor he opened them up and brought out the contents. "I packed light. I have my robe liner and a back up robe I also have some books." Rath slowly takes his robes off, revealing his steel plated armor underneath. He sits on the bed, slowly un-latching the straps holding his breast plate on. "This thing is specially fitted to wear like light armor. It'll only fit someone exactly like me. The interior of the armor is padded to reduce impact and noise." He continues undoing leather buckles and straps, finally the side pops forward and the mail comes off. "I sometimes hate this armor." Rath stands up and begins unbuckling the gauntlets. They don't take as long as the plate. He slides them off and sets them beside the plate. "Ahh now I can relax." He places his arms behind his head and lays shirtless on the bed. A book floats up to his face and is suspended mid air. "Hmm. A travelers guide to Skyrim. Alright, I guess I'll read it." The book opens and Rath begins to read.

(Thanks for keeping me in the loop!) Rumare walked to one of the empty beds and sat down his bags. His arm was starting to numb up a bit like Myra had said. He held that arm to himself while searching his bags' contents. One bag held his robes and some food he had to "scavenge" from some hunter's camp, while the other held his old armor. He looked at the Elven metal as the light from Myra's magelights flashed against it. This armor was the only protection he had, but he couldn't bear to look at it for more than a few seconds. He stashed it under the bed and placed the other at the foot of the bed. He looks at the book Rathalos was reading and it piqued his interest. "Give me a look at that when you're done, will you?"

Satisfied with the answer, Rumare laid out on the bed and sighed. This was the most relaxed he had been in what felt like ages. He was by no means at peace, but he could at least pretend for the two of them. The last thing he needed was questions. Rumare closed his eyes and inhaled, enjoying the silence, occasionally interrupted by footsteps or Rathalos turning a page.

Myra straightened out her things, and removed her cloak. She hadn't gotten her official robes yet, and was wearing civilian clothes (You know the female chef's clothes in Skyrim? Like that, only with a blue corset-thingy. It's not a real corset, and I can't remember what it's called...). She took a look at the stack, but all the books were ones she'd already read, or uninteresting. "I'm going to go back downstairs. Anyone need anything?"

The book closes shut, still floating in the air. "Mead. Please if you don't mind." Rath looks at Rumare. "Here." The book floats over and lands beside him. Rath stands up and walks into the bathroom. "I'm going to take a bath." He shouts as he closes the door.

Rumare opened one eye and looked to Myra. After a moment to ponder Rumare got back up. "Actually I will join you. I'm not very skilled at sitting still." Rumare smoothed out his robes and looked to Rathalos as he walked to the bath. Rumare continued on to Myra. "Are you doing anything in particular or just fetching mead?"

"Alright. So... Is it alright if I ask you why you're here?", Myra asked him on their way back up. (By the way, my involvement in Of Elves and Men I've decided to make part of an alternate universe for Myra, so It has nothing to do with this thread. Just though I should clarify.)

Rumare sighed with a soft smile. He should have known she would be curious. Anyone would be wary of a stranger. He decided to speak the truth, but an oblique form of it. He didn't want to risk these people knowing too much if he was found out. They were friendly enough for that much. "Well, I was apart of a group that had taken residence in Cyrodiil. I was with them, but didn't exactly agree with their methods. I was afraid of being killed for my refusal to take part in their...ways, so I fled. They have been searching for me ever since." Satisfied with his response, he spoke again before she could ask anymore. "What about you?"

"My family is Nobility, so I wasn't allowed to do many things, though my parents are very enabling, and let me do most things that were deemed inappropriate for my family. I left home to learn, and to see what the rest of the world has to offer. I don't really have much of a reason."

Rumare smiled at her answer. "You don't need a reason. Exploration and the chance to learn is more than enough." Rumare himself loved to explore and discover new things and places. Adventure was his weakness. Anything ancient or powerful was something he searched for wherever he went. Maybe he had more in common with these people than he had thought.

Rath steps into the bathroom, The tub is on the opposite wall as the door, beside the tub are chamber pots and a small stream runs on a ledge beside the tub. A pitcher sets on the ledge that the stream on. "So I fill up the tub with stream water. Nice." The bucket begins scooping water up and dumping it into the tub, while Rath unbuckles his sword and lays it aside. He draws it real quick to look over it. "Hmm. It looks perfect. Cept for the blood stain near the hilt." He sheaths the sword placing it aside. Rath looks up noticing the tub is full. The pitcher stops scooping water and rests back on the ledge. Rath begins unbuckling his greaves. "Ugh these things take forever as well. Good thing they're a greaves and boot combo." The leggings make a soft ping as the last strap comes undone. Rath sets them beside the sword while removing his undergarments. "Okay. Lets see how warm this is." He puts a foot in immediately Jumping back. "Ice cold, of course." The water rises out of the tub and is now A giant bubble floating mid air. "Okay let's hope I don't lose concentration." Rath casts a flame spell on the water slowly heating up. After a minute of heating it up He slowly puts the water back in the tub, steam now rising from the cold cast iron. "Bleh. I feel drained." The door opens and a blue bottle rolls in. "Ugh come on. Just a tad closer Rath." The bottle shakes and rolls an inch close to the tub, still out of his reach. "To tired. No more Magicka." Rath forgets about the bottle and continues bathing.

She walked back to where they had left their drinks, and noticed Rath had left his there. She shook it and noticed it was only a third full. "I'm going to get Rathalos another bottle of wine, and bring it back to him. I'll be right back. Again, I guess.", She explained, walking back to the counter. She bought another bottle, and poured the rest of the last one in, and went back downstairs. She got to the room, but realized he was in the tub. She knocked on the door. "Rath, you left your wine downstairs, but it was almost empty, so I got you a new one. I'm going to leave it here. Just make sure you put new water in the tub when you're done.", and with that, left again. (I'm going to go to bed soon, I have to get up early tomorrow.

She comes back up, and sits down again. She rests her head on her hand. "Just a little longer. Then you can have some alone time and that bath, and think. But not now. You have a friend to talk to, and the bath is taken.", she thought exhaustedly to herself, promptly sitting up straight again. "Is everyone on this journey a mage? We don't have any swordsman? I'm a little worried about that... Magic is wonderful, but what if we all exhaust ourselves? It'd be a really bad thing if we should run out of Magicka. Maybe we could pick one up on the way... What do you think?", she asked. (Rath, you should have, er, Rath come downstairs and assume social obligations, and tell Myra the bath is open.)

Rath had just finished locking his greaves into place when he hear Myra knock. "Umm. Thanks. I will." He picked up his sword refastened it to his waist. The blue bottle that laid on the floor floated up to Raths hand. He quickly downed the potion as he walked into the room having the bottle of wine float to his bed and the magicka bottle into the waste basket. "I guess I should drain my water." The plug from the tub flew out of the tub and hit the ceiling. "Lighter than I thought." After the water finished draining Rath walked into the bathroom and put his hands in front of the stream. It filled up the tub faster than the pitcher. Finishing up in the bathroom He laid his hair down and went back to his bed. "What should I do next" he thought as he laid down. "Guess I better tell Myra her bath is ready." He walks upstairs hand on the hilt of his sword. "Baths ready Myra. Don't forget to warm it up." He walked over to the table and sat with Rumare.

"Well I have my sword from...well. But I'm not so good with the weight. Can't seem to keep myself from losing grip of it." Rumare quickly cast a bound sword, trying to keep it away from the others. "This tends to work a bit better. But I understand what you are saying. We will need some muscle later on if things get interesting."
