Where do I go from here?

I've started off a new character in Skyrim, wanting my new Breton to be an all-round asskicker.
However, I've found that now I just have my perks spread out, and I'm kind of undergoing a pesonality crisis. As in, when I approach a combat situation, I don't know whether to sneak, shoot arrows, shoot lightning, or chop 'em up.

Where do I go from here...I want a sneaky bow and arrow guy who can decapitate fools, but can also use dual lightning. Should I ditch the lightning and have the same character I did last game, or go ahead and level up lightning a bit.

Use an illusion spell then while they attack each other begin your rain of arrows then when they are no longer confused use a sword and a shield!

Ahh...so use illusion rather than destruction, interesting..I'd probraly want to go along the animage branch of illusion, right? And, how do I get sneak into that equation.

Just cast Frenzy and wait until only one of them is alive, and then finish him off with arrows.

I'm not at the college yet, so I don't have many apprentice spells. When you're their, who do you buy tomes from?-and who are the teachers of each illusion.
I've not advanced far into the college quest on any of my characters, so can someone give me a rundown of how/ where/ and who to unlock spells from?

Drevis Neloren sells illusion spells. He's usually in the Hall of Countenance; turn left when you enter the College.

Well I had problems with illusion when I mastered illusion it glitched and wouldnt let me do the master spells quest

I know this is kind of old but if you plan your perks to be able to double cast then have the extra sword damage everything might work out

that's how i would go, i don't know what else you'd want.

also, just adding 1 point to speech isn't going to change that much in the game, in fact any perk tree in which you were to spend 1 or 2 points is just a waste.
10% better prices is hardly noticeable.

And if you want smithing you either choose to be able to get up until dragon or not at all if you ask me.
and i would max the first enchanting perk.
