Spoiler Your Views on Skyrim's Political Climate

I'm with the Stormcloaks. If you completed the Stormcloak side of the Civil War Quests you know that General Tulius even blames the Thalmar for all the trouble before his death. The Empire had to be forced from Skyrim so the Thalmar didn't take the Nords too. On the other side of that, the Empire kept the Dominion out of Skyrim.

When I began playing I felt the same about a fractured empire but have to agree with Sky on this after playing for a while.

Why does everyone (For all you ignorant, and biased Stormcloak haters) have this idea that if the Stormcloaks won, that they will kick all other races out of Skyrim?

If that were true, ever Stormcloak-Occupied City would be forcing other races excluding Man out.

Quit being ignorant.

With good reason though, they did torture him and keep him captive. I'm not saying it's right that he hates them, but he has a somewhat legit reason for hating the thalmor.

Which is why I think his severe hate for the Thalmor is what can make the difference between winning and losing in a war fighting the Aldmeri Dominion.

Let's be honest here, the Empire is weak, weak-willed, passive, and a generally plopsty military force..

The Stormcloaks are aggressive, Nords, fighting to protect their homeland, primitive in combat, will not surrender, etc.
 
I hate Imperials and the Thalmor on principle, so I sided with the Stromcloaks. There's some brilliant storyline to discover. Gradually you find out more about Ulfric. He's a fascist, power freak, like many armed revolutionaries throughout history, worse than the overlords they were trying to replace.

Loking forward to disposing of BOTH the Emperor AND Ulfric. Peace will only be possible once both of these gangs are neutralized.

ANARCHY IN SKYRIM!

PS wish the battles would have been bigger, but I guess my machine wouldn't have coped with it.

I agree with The Ebony Knight. If you speak to Ulfric himself who says he just wants the freedom of Skyrim's people not a master race; That's the Thalmor's gig. America will only allow an American president to take office, and I don't consider that racist.

So you would support an authority who gives control over to a impending power that demands they are the master race in order to avoid bloodshed, while siding against those who are shedding their blood to demand independence and freedom....

I demand you rethink this argument, or read about WWII
