Your "wow" moments.

Got 2:

1. I was being attacked by a blood dragon just west of Whiterun, and so the guards where helping me, and I used dragonrend. The dragon came to the ground, and I started hacking away at it with my Daedric Sword. Eventually Dragonrend wore off and the dragon took off. I aimed my bow and shot it in mid air, which was also poisoned, and the dragon died. It just fell out of the sky and slammed into the ground really far away. That was pretty funny.

2. I was fighting some giants with Sven (I know he's not that great) and so we took one each. I look to my right to see how Sven was doing, just in time to see him be launched to the moon (along with all my expensive crap) and disappear without a trace. I slaughtered both the giants, and looted the chests etc. Then I left to go kill a deer I could see on the horizon. Just as I fire my bow, a certain guy named sven appears out of nowhere to take a poisoned arrow to the head. He died that day... :(

Another WOW! moment and 2 wow... moments.
WOW! moment: I was fighting about FIFTY (I counted afterwards) gaurds after escaping solitude. I charged into the middle and started slashing. I was getting pwned, to say the least. I drank some potions and then used the full Fus Ro Dah to clear a path. Half the gaurds were blown halfway across solitude, a lot of which died in the fall. I ran forward, turned around and decapitated a foolish gaurd. I slashed a few more, then stabbed one through. After a long battle that used up ten Vigourous Healing potions, I slayed the final weak Gaurd with a slash to the hip and a stab through the chest.

wow... moment 1: With all of the blades equipment, I decided to go all samurai style on a dragon. I jumped off the cliff, hoping to land on the beast (which I have done before), when he randomly dies, crashing to the ground. Well, the area below me was not water, suffice to say.
wow... moment 2: I used dragonrend in the air randomly and an Ancient Dragon that apparenty was invisible fell from the sky, now visible, and killed me and many around me.

Encountering a Dwarven Centurion ( big metal giant, basically) who spit this poisonous steam which killed me pretty fast. After a few false starts, I managed to lure him into one of those spinning dwarven blade traps which I'd just come through, while firing glass arrows at him. The arrows weakened him enough so that the blades made him into twisted metal.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum so I have a few "wow" moments I'd like to contribute.

First of all, Labyrinthian for me is a totally incredible place. The graphics are amazing both in the interior of the ruin and outside. I've been back several times just to look around and still get lost in it all. Shalidor's Maze was incredible too. That was one of the first quests that really made me think. It was so different to the standard quests that I enjoyed it a lot.

The quest that takes you through the interior of Labyrinthian is totally amazing. As I said, the graphics are amazing, but the quest itself was a spin out. At one point my follower, Jordis died and in the heat of the moment I threw myself at her and tried the healing hands spell. She was already gone so of course healing didn't work and then the ghosts appeared and started talking in such hurried tones that I left Jordis and hurried off to finish the quest. Silly I know, but it was so realistic that I got totally caught up in it. In the end I missed Jordis so much that I reloaded the save to get her back :P

My next wow moment actually involves Jordis too - every time we get attacked by dragons, she pretty much pwns them before I've got a chance to get my bow out. But one time at Winterhold a blood dragon attacked. Got its health whittled down and suddenly it, and everyone (including Jordis), disappeared. For the life of me I couldn't find it or Jordis but it's health bar was still at the top of the screen. I just sat there watching the health bar disappear into nothing. So basically, Jordis killed the thing all by herself while I sat there and watched it die without even knowing where either of them were. Again silly, perhaps, but it totally bowled me over.

Lucky last involves a dragon and a giant encampment. The dragon started attacking me and I didn't see the giant and the two mammoths because a big hill was in the way. Half way through the battle, the dragon decided it was bored with me and took off. I followed it to find it attacking the giant and mammoths. Then the mob noticed me and basically turned me into a shish kekab.

I got my first taste of fighting 2 dragons at once...a blood dragon and a named dragon. I died a couple times, but then I finally killed both of them. That was pretty amazing. As I stood there triumphant and heavily breathing, I noticed a body laying in the middle of the road. Lydia had met her fate, and I decided that she died a good, warrior's death, dragged her off the road into a meadow, dropped a pile of mountain flowers on her, and bid her adieu.

the college of winterhold quest line was probably my favorite. other than the ending of the main quest, when *spoiler alert** you enter sovengarde. which is very awesome. lydia died protecting winterhold with me, then i decided i didnt like her anyway cause she died to much. so i left her.. and got illia, which is the bestttt. Fus Ro Da'ing the giant orb in blackreach is really cool aswell. labyrinthian to, especially shalidors maze

I was being chased by a bear today on my horse and ended up on a bridge. The bear started mauling my horse, and I wasn't having that. So I got off my horse and shouted the bear off the bridge, he did a spinning backflip through the air and died in the river beneath. Cheers to Bethesda, skyrim has the best physics engine I have ever seen in a video game.

For no particular reason I've avoided Morketh city, tonight I entered the drinking competition, again, for no particular reason.. Omg what a funny little quest!
Anyhoo.. My omg moment was waking up, opening a door and viewing this incredible city. The time invested in the rendering.. The damn view! Seriously.. W.O.W!
Anyhow, knowing the way I pile quest after quest in myself I exited quickly.
What a great scene; I shall return!

It's the Hangover: middle earth

Wow moments, be warned of a possible quest spoiler D: sorry:
1. The entire Dark Brotherhood. From Aventus making his dead mother's corpse into a black sacrament, to hiding in the casket with the night mother. But I broke into a laughing fit when I saw Astrid make herself into the sacrament. That was just flipping amasing. Not even kidding you. I love Skyrim, but when that occurred, I found a new respect for it.

2. At the Namira feast if you hang around you realise that the people there are not just strangers but shop owners; feasting on the flesh of the guy from Markarth's Hall of the Dead. I love the ring you get from that quest, but even more I love the fact that you can go around Markarth and every direction is a cannibal though they dismiss it and even have alibis. That, my dear, is excellent character continuation.

3. Near Sleeping Tree Camp a dragon attacked and instead of just focusing on me it chose to go for the giant's babies. Don't mess with their mammoths. I stood there for a little over a minute watching this giant beat the crap out of a dragon. I kind of played along and kept using dragonrend on it to help out the poor fellow. I was really shocked that the giant managed to save all his mammoths. I just thought it was cute that they kept giants' personalities and the fact that I watched a giant kill a dragon.

4. Last one. I wear my haggling face when in the market, I forget what it is called but when I have it on my clothes disappear and my character is left wearing only the mask and underwear. Anyways, I do this quite frequently. Well one time I was walking back to my house in Whiterun and a kid ran up to me and screamed "You're naked!!". A couple minutes later a woman started dogging me for being a hussy basically because morally sound people don't run around without clothes on. I know its kind of stupid but I thought it was a "wow" moment because they are all oblivious when I steal from dead guards and wear their uniforms but suddenly when I only have a mask on they notice... weird. I like it though, because it was the two characters that you would expect to point things out like that, a little girl and a grumpy old hag.

well you can go up to the tree and harvest the sap through a spigot that can be there, but when it had that option for me, it didnt actually let me go through with harvesting it. a second time i went there the spigot wasnt even inside of the tree. but you can usually find the sap somewhere around the camp, i found it in a chest in the sleeping tree camp cave. also occasionally youll come by those dealers haha. the ones that are like ' i can get you whatever you need' in a shady voice ya know. and all theyre selling is moon sugar, skooma, and sleeping tree sap. what it does is make your health regenerate alot faster, and the visual side effects, are well, pretty interesting. haha

Omg thank you~! I just dismissed it as a giant camp and totally spaced that sleeping tree sap even exists because usually you only hear about skooma. I'm going to go try it out :D

yeahh no problem. in the skyrim guide book, it says its a powerful narcotic/hallucinogen haha. helps your health quite a bit, but its is somewhat harder to fight on
