Krul reminds me of a badass troll figure in Heroscape named Krug. He had a massive butcher knife and got stronger the more you wounded him.

Krul doesn't have those powers but he is a total badass.

I told my sister his whole story and she cried. Granted she seemed to having an emotional day....but still.

So Krul is not only the most glorious and badass of Orcs, but also one who can touch hearts and bring one to tears?

He's basically one of my favourite creations. I'm hoping to build up a solid and layered character with him. I'll probably offer his update either tomorrow evening or on Monday as I'm away this weekend. I'll craft a framework today if I get the chance.

Woah, I just noticed that in Skyrim at the Shrine of Boethiah the skybox turns to night and the sun goes dark.

I've only been there once I think....I'm playing an imperial ranger atm though who is essentially in Skyrim to get a lay of the land for Tullius....and in response to the growing Stormcloak threat has taken it upon himself to track down the daedric artefacts in hope that they can be used to turn the tide of battle should it come to that. So eventually I'll be going back. I'm excited tbh. Boethiah was always one of my favourite purely because of the location.

Well, Tanar just kind of shouted an offer to hire adventurers, so maybe that would attract Odell's attention.

Either way, we can give it a day or two, and if things don't pick up, whoever's around can just keep going. This is, after all, meant to be an RP where people can just drop in and out.

Del, I can't help but picture Gregory as Randy Gregory, a DE from Nebraska. I know this is completely inaccurate, but this is how it is going to be. It's too late for me.

It's now a widely accepted fact. I have no idea who Randy Gregory is but I agree with this. That's just how solid an idea it is.

Also, has anyone seen Guardians of the Galaxy? I saw it this past weekend. It was fantastic I thought. It didn't quite surpass Avengers in terms of that blockbuster "wow" factor, but generally I feel it has a more solid foundation and came across as a more entertaining storyline, however that may be due to the lack of Joss Whedon's involvement.

DISCLAIMER - This isn't to suggest that I'm hating on Whedon. I'm just...reluctant to applaude recent work.

No, I agree. I thought Guardians was fantastic. I've actually seen it twice, by coincidence. Meaning I saw it on Friday, then, coincidentally, I got in my car, drove my friend to another movie theater and saw it on Saturday.

But yeah, I was also loving the throwback soundtrack and humor (although the post-credits reference was terrifying, and I do not want to see that movie if they make a movie starring him).

I was also hoping Gamora would be less damsel-in-distressy, but we can't have everything, I guess.

Same, but at least she pulled a knife after being kissed.

Also, I'm incredibly excited because I now have another lead female from a sci-fi films I can realistically dress up as for hallowe'en parties. There are only so many times you can go as Uhura. Trying to find a relevant costume these days is nigh on impossible. So yay!
