Is this a good RP character?

Name: Drez

Race: Argonian

Class: Skirmisher

Description: (Still working on the color, either black or green)

History: Drez lived in a small town in Black Marsh, he was happy, had a home, friends, and family. He was not rich, or poor, he was in between as were most of the citizens. Soon everything changed when the bandits began to raid his town. Drez watched them as they slaughtered the citizens, his family and friends. He couldn't do anything, due to his age, and his anger built up in him. He was forced to take his father's armor and weapons, and to live off of the environment. 10 years have past, and now Drez is a strong young Argonian, since he was in the wilderness most of his life, he was stronger than most of the citizens of Black Marsh, and even Skyrim. I massacred the bandits, excluding one unlucky. Drez tortured him until he spilled that the leader was in Skyrim. The exact location, no one knew. But Drez remembered the leader's face from 10 years ago. He is now in Skyrim, poor, and only has some Light Armor, an Iron Sword, a Hide Shield, and of course the Long Bow. He is now headed over to Riften in search of the "Thieves Guild" in order to make money, and after that spread havoc on any bandit he sees.

Skills: One Handed, Block, Light Armor, Archery


This is my first RP character, any tips? On yeah and this is my Skirmisher that I made myself, and also I don't really know if he should join the Thieves Guild since he is a Skirmisher (which is a warrior) but I never did any of them and I wonder id I should do them? I won't be using Sneak, I already have an Assassin so I don't want to use it.

no offence but you can post this to any of the existing character card threads instead of making a new one. Other than that its sounds like a good character, the rest depends on your writing skills.


Oh unless your asking about in game then you need to know this section is about writing in character stories. Not exactly fan-fiction which is more novel like this is post and response stories.

Purple Shew i see what he is asking he isnt really going into the fan fiction part of it as he told his chracters story and is wonder if you the RP Skills fit him or the RP Guild. ... and Yes they do strongly fit his chracter as there was much thought put into his chracter build i dont see the need to be so hard on him or other members using the forum in this way
 
I like the underpowered equipment of your character. I always think having an extremely underpowered character in an RP is a good touch. That is why mine is 96 with one arm and one eye! :p But I do think this is a good char!
 
I think the best character to role-play with, is one that you absolutely love. Remember you aren't just writing a story here, you also want to enjoy your time.

Lucas76020 is right about choosing a "weaker" character. It adds struggle and depth to your character and allows for more appreciation of accomplishments.
 
To be fair Lucas, your 96 year old man with one arm and eye is more overpowering for his under powering situation. He beat a grown man in a brawl.......:P
 
What tricks I remember none! Lol anyway we should probably stay on topic this is abit of a random conversation really.
