OOC (18+) The Hunt

I thought so too. There still isn't much she could do about it, and she wouldn't know much at all about Skylar other than she's an imperial agent. I mean, Jess is good, but she's not the Shadow Broker.

Even though they have some similarities :D

Shaded, would you mind writing an RE to Jessica's message and PM'ing it to me? I'll then put it in my next post.

I just did and it looks awesome. It sounds like it would make any cream pie bend over and take it.

Hell yeah man. I thought apple and pumpkin pie were good, but damn. You gotta try it with Strawberry Ice Cream. Heaven in your mouth i swear.

Hey guys, would anyone know any good starships like the 'Hustler' from Baroth's CC? I could really use a few good suggestions besides simply stealing borrowing one for SWTOR again.

Been doing a little reading, and you know what I'd like to see? An all out war between the Yuuzhan Vong from SW and the Tyrannids from 40K. Would be awesome.

Basically: Fanatics that are believe it's their right to own the galaxy. They use living ships and weapons, some of them around 100 kilometres. They worship death and pain, mutilate themselves, and they 'shape' new weapons/ soldiers/ diseases with their Shaper caste. Basically, allows them to adapt to new enemies, create bio-weapons, etcetera.

Some info on their ships and other stuff:

lol, yeah, kind of. Oh, and like the Tyrannids, they've a sort of syncronizing creature that allows them to fight pretty much as one. Which was why they kicked the New Republics asses at first. Funny thing is, when a Vong fleet attacked the Imperial Remnant, under Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon, the Imperials kicked their collective scarred asses.

I don't know much about 40k so I can't really comment. However, I have always wished that the vong had attacked the empire when it was at its prime. It says in the books that they held off on their invasion because of how powerful the empire was at the height of its rule. Personally, I think the Empire is the strongest galactic power I've ever seen in a sci-fi universe.

I agree. The Galactic Empire managed to conquer most of the known galaxy, and at its' prime, had millions of soldiers, and hundreds of thousands of elite Stormtroopers. And we're not even talking Storm Commandos, or the Strategic Insertion Battalion. Even after the battle of Endor, the Empire still won more than its' fair share of battles, and despite shrinking in size, was fairly powerful during the Vong war. The only reason the Empire didn't start fighting was because the Moffs were shaking in their boots, and threatened to 'replace' Pellaeon. After the Vong attacked though, that was a different story. The New Republic was almost begging for their help.

Yeah, I always get a kick out of HALO fanatics that say the UNSC could mop the floor with the Empire. I'm fairly certain that at it's height the UNSC had about as many ships as a single Imperial task force. I haven't finished the books about the Vong war so don't spoil it for me. Still, I was just reading up on the Imperial Navy and it says that at their peak, they had millions of ships and trillions of soldiers manning them. Its a pretty hilarious comparison if you ask me. A single star dreadnaught could probably wipe the floor with the entire UNSC fleet if you ask me.

Lol, that's ironic. The Remainder of the Empire saving the Rebels? Or more specifically the post-rebellion government?

I've read that after the Galactic Civil War much of the galaxy was in chaos because the New Republic didn't have the manpower the Galactic Empire had and couldn't maintain order. Then the Empire reorganizes itself into the Imperial Remnent and has its economy completely trashed by the New Republic. Then the New Republic falls on it's arse when the Vong invade. Don't they organize a defense and eventually win the war though? Even after completely rebuilding Couresant?

Plus they had the Death Star, which could completely destroy planets. Not even the Covenant could do that, let alone the UNSC. No, it's no comparison. The Imperium of Man from 40K would be a better comparison since it comprises of about a million worlds and too many people to count. Enough to where they send Imperial Guardsmen out to die by the thousands and think nothing of it.
