Today's the day we finally get Dawngaurd. Ok, well, it'll actually be closer to tomorrow. Based on the nearly 11PM EST release of Hearthfire I'm figuring I'll be back in bed by the time it comes out.
Anyway, what are you looking forward to most? For me, and I think I'm not alone in this...
So far everything has been progressing pretty smoothly for me since putting both Dragonborn and Hearthfire on my PS3. It's weird how they seems to affect people using the same system so differently.
At first soul trap, but for the long haul, fiery soul trap. Hands down the best enchantment for any weapon in the game. Drop the time on the soul trap to 1 second, that's all you'll need, and you end up with a ridiculous number of shots with 10 points of fire damage. Plus you'll fill your...
3rd Person, 99.9% of the time. I only use 1st for long range sniping with the bow and arrow. I can't move in 1st person at all as it makes me sick to my stomach. That's why I can't play any sort of 1st person shooter. Something about them gives me motion sickness.
Sorry if this has been brought up before, but are the Display cases in Lakeview Manor bugged? I can open and close them, but I can't actually put anything in them.
Actually, there's two. Scouts-Many-Marshes is the one I mentioned earlier, but I also forgot about the female Argonian Shahvee, who also works down at the Windhelm docks.
The way Galmar goes on about killing everyone who doesn't support them, I have little doubt that he would gladly carry out a Stalin-like purge of Skyrim shortly after the war.
Of course if you side with him and win the war then all of the opposing Jarls are conveniently replaced.
Going back...
I've never used elemental fury, maybe I'll give it a try one of these days. Typically I stick with Unreleanting Force, Fire and Frost breath, Dragon Rend, and Ice Form. Others I tend to use pretty sparingly
All kidding aside, my old PS2 was a beast. I put so many hours on that thing, including multiple 24 hour endurance races played on B-spec mode in GT4 (the best of the Gran Turismo series by far). After I got my PS3 I gave it to the secretary for her son, and it's still going strong to this day.
My PS3 runs Skyrim just fine. There's issues with the game no matter what platform you use, all of the Elder Scroll games are pretty famous, or infamous, for that. As long as the game is running well for a person, then I don't really care what they are playing it on.
What's 1 little thing that you think Skyrim is missing? Something that wouldn't take much effort at all to add to the game, but would just make it feel a tad bit more real. I'll start the list.
1) Crows. Even just the sound of crows would add to the game. Imagine looking out across the...
So far I've only built Lakeview, but my wife Lydia and child Sofie both love it. Every time I ask they talk about how awesome it is and how the fresh air seems to be doing everyone some good.
My current Dragonborn has yet to visit Solstheim, but I checked it out quickly on an older build. I'd say Skyrim is definitely going to stay my home. Don't get me wrong, Solstheim is a great place to visit, but it's just not home for me.
