Hi, this section is for those asking for Help, not those offering. This would probably be better posted in Skyrim Guides & Tutorials, or if you want to write articles for the site, you could go here: http://skyrimforum.com/threads/attention-writers.6436/#post-59263
What do you think, Rayven?
^ Amen.
Race actually doesn't give you much advantage in the long run, just at the beginning. But if you're going for destruction I'd suggest Altmer/High Elf.
Since I don't play a mage myself, I can't speak much on finding robes... because what I know is you cant enchant robes which already have an enchantment. I've read somewhere that unenchanted robes do exist, but I don't know where to find them.
Here's the wiki page on clothing, it lists...
Yeah, but that's after he says that line. Then, if I remember correctly, he says something like magic has no effect lalala when you attack. then he says that he will try to weaken him, then he attacks the orb. Try waiting an hour?
I think you have to wait a bit. Did Tolfdir say "I thought it was high time I caught up with you."? He doesn't destroy the orb, he's supposed to cast a spell on Jyrik so that he's not invincible anymore. Try attacking Jyrik using both spells and weapons.
NPCs will follow you into the house if they are talking to you as you enter. So have the bear attack you again then exit the house? It should follow you out, too.
You should've put the spoiler tag on the title, btw :p
What platform are you on? Maybe you coud reload a save shortly before you talked to Calixto about the amulet? And dont worry about the advice thing never unlocking, it happened to me and I was able to finish the quest.
Also, I think...
Really? I thought he shows up between 10 and 2. But yes, he wanders randomly around, like M'aiq the Liar, or the travelling bards/traders/Vigilant of Stendarr. I've seen videos wherein some people are able to talk to him, though he only says one or two lines. What is known is that there is no...
Then to get you started, I'd suggest a Khajiit, since that's what I've just recently done :D Their inherent ability to Sneak early in the game makes it easier, and your kills more succesful, which give you a pretty good headstart. However, you can't neglect levelling up your Sneak, since a good...
Yes. The Nightingale Sentinel who first approached you before you proceeded into Pilgrim's Path is supposed to appear and talk to Karliah. The perk which you're referring to I think, is the Agent of Nightingale one? It doesn't appear until after Gallus talks to Karliah. I'd suggest waiitng a...
Doing this right now, I'd go with (same as most of the above) Archery, One-Handed, Sneak, and Light Armor. Don't bother putting perks into lockpicking, it's not a very useful skill tree for me. Same with pickpocketing. As usual, don't forget your smithing, enchanting, etc.
According to the UESP Wiki:
"All varieties of Necklaces, Rings, and Shields of Dwindling Magic, of Resist Magic, of Waning Magic, of Magic Abatement, of Magic Suppression, and of Nullification."
You'll just have to keep looking, bro :D OR check out shops for something cheap with that...
