just curious how many people are with me on this one.

I for one say yes. (but only when they add a perk tree in the next dlc)

While this may come in handy at certain times, such an option really reduces the realistic feeling of the game. Maybe this can come in the shape of a cheat.

if they implemented this i think it should be optional and I think it should be very hard to obtain the ability to do so. also, it should only be doable once per character

I don't think this should be included. If you put your perks in the wrong place then that's your fault. Can you imagine how many people would put all their perks into destruction the once their destruction is 100 place those perks into one handed for example. Need to pick a master lock? No problem, just implant your perks into lockpicking and she you're done reassign them to your combat skills. I think it's already easy enough to make an overpowered character, I don't think having a character that specialises in everything all the time is a good idea"

Yes, but as I've stated before, there should be a limit on the number of perks you can reset. I think 10 would be fine, and you can only do it once, after say, level 40.

normally I would say no, but if they did add some sort of new perk tree or some such thing, it would be nice to give us the option to respec our characters after taking the new options into consideration/

i really dont get this idea. we arent playing WoW where you put months into a character. this game isnt made to have one character and play forever. the best part about it is that you can create countless characters with none being the same.

i mentioned this in a thread before but look at kingdoms of amalur. its a great game, dont get me wrong. however, at any point in the game you can pay an NPC a relatively tiny amount of in game currency to reset all your points and pull a complete 180 with your character. at first this sounded like a good idea. what you eventually find out is that you beat the game with lets say a rogue. okay, lets go pay 0.05% of all the gold i have and become a mage just like that. oh, mage isnt fun, lets pay the guy again and be a warrior. now im bored of that too, ill go trade this game in. the end. no reply value whatsoever. i think implementing this would be horrible for the elder scrolls and im sure theres no possible chance of them doing it anyway, so im not worried.

That's why i left you people with the option, yes but only if they add another perk

I for one have a character with which i played most, and if there were to be a new skill tree in which i would want to invest i can barely invest any points because i've spend most.

I just want a reset once if they add another skill tree, other wise i agree with the fact that if you have invested wrong then it's just your own stupid fault.

If that existed, I would rape that button. Multiple times.

However, I just think that that would kind of ruin the game for me in a way. It's because of my mistakes and learning from them that makes the game much more enjoyable for me.

agreed, but wouldn't you rape about anything if that profile picture is really you:p

That's why i would want it to be a 1 time thing

I'm torn, so I can't answer :p. I do admit it would be nice to reset the perks, but at the same time I think it would destroy the replay value of the game.

Nahh, I'd rather not make the game any easier. That would take away from the value of the game for me. Look at Diablo 3: Hardcore Diablo fans are crying in their sleep because the games used to make picking skills and attributes a very difficult decision, but now it's so easy to reset, and the system is very forgiving. Having the perk system be that forgiving would be just lame for me. It would also, as Train says, take away from replay value.

The only reason I could get on board with it is if it was VERY hard to obtain a reset, and/or if it can only be used a small number of times.

The Melon Lord has spoken, it has been decided...there shall be no perk reset without something keeping it difficult. (or you'll never see melons again )
