PLEASE HELP ME, I WANT THE WINDHELM HOUSE. I waited and i have finish all the stormcloak missions. No one gets stabbed, shot, strangled, nothing at all happens. please someone shed some light on this for me, i need some help with this.

there are two other way to complete the quest.

This missio is likely to become a Detective, secret detective.
when you on the mission, a Guard will ask you to investigate.
During the investigation you can notice a trace, blood trace on the street.
follow the trace.

but I dont know your progress of mission.

I NEED HELP!!! I AM WITH THE EMPIRE AND KILLED ALL THE STORMCLOAKS IN WINDHELM AND NOW I CANT DO BLOOD ON THE ICE TO GET THE HOUSE I WANT TO GET.. IT SAIS FOR THE QUEST BUY A HOUSE IN WINDHELM BUT IF I TALK TO THE MAN HE SAIS THERE HAS BEEN A MURDER AND WILL NOT BE SOLD !!!! PLEASE HELP

Im in the same boat, and its killing me, idk what to do to start it.

To my knowledge this quest is very buggy. If you have done the Dark brotherhood story line, sorry your going to have to wait till the next patch. I am stuck in the same problem btw. Checked all the graveyards and nothing.

The quest is supposed to be triggered after you leave Windhelm once and then enter again. Worked perfectly for me. I was quick to get the quest out of the way since I heard it was so bugged.

I havent even triggered the crime yet, everyone is just walking around happy, and not bleeding.

Her parent live in shatter-shield house in the windhelm.
