Can't make a new game, it just keeps looping?

So I installed Skyrim from steam on the pc. Installed fine and started up just fine. However when I click on New Game, it just sits there at the screen with the dragon. It's not frozen because the mist and etc. keeps moving, and the tips just keep looping through. Anyone know of a fix?
