replaying Dragonborn for the first time in years and honestly Raven Rock is hitting different now. like, it's this tiny struggling Dunmer outpost on a frozen island and somehow it feels more lived-in than entire ESO towns with way more NPCs and quests. everyone there has actual beef with each other - Geldis and his dad, the constant tension about resources, people actually arguing about whether staying is worth it.
ESO's settlements feel like they exist to give you 47 quests and a crafting station. Raven Rock feels like a place where people are actually trying to survive and failing a little bit. idk if it's just the scale or the writing but something about it works way better.
anyone else get that vibe or am I just nostalgic about the DLC?
