Xbox 360 Heartfire Help!

So whenever I downloaded it today I immeadietly fast traveled to Whiterun. I then found the courrier however he delivered a message from Dawnstar, where I do not want to live. Instead I fast traveled to Falkreath hoping to find another courrier however I could not find him and Falkreath is the only place I want to live. Have any suggestions? Please help!

You have to be a Thane in the area you want to live. There are only 3 area's to buy plots. Like you said you found one in Dawnstar, meaning your a thane there. You just need to go to the Jarl in Falkreath and do his quests, then you need to help 3 of his people, after that you'll be able to become a thane and be able to purchase a plot of land in Falkreath.
