[Ghost Of Sparta]

How is everyone doing? I am Ghost Of Sparta (or Ghost...or Ryan ) and I am new to the Elder Scrolls Series. I had been meaning to play Oblivion when I got my PS3 3 years ago but just never got around to it, what with all the games that come out every year. I had always heard good things about the series. When Skyrim came out, it looked cool but I honestly didn't know if I would like it. Couple friends of mine got it and I saw some videos they posted so I asked for it for an early birthday present from my wife and she got it for me! I am currently level 32 (almost 33) and I am a Dark Elf Mage. I friggin' love this game, I dare say I am even addicted to it! My main focus perk-wise is Destruction, Light Armor, One handed and Enchanting. This game definitely deserved GOTY, even with the lag and frame rate drops I've experienced.

Anyway, this is a long enough intro. Looking forward to talking Skyrim with you guys

Thank you kind sir (or ma'am lol). I am kind of kicking myself for not playing Oblivion, but hey at least I am playin Skyrim lol. I'm currently neglecting all my other games for haha. I've played MW3 like twice since I got it lol

I bought WWE 12 (I like wrestling), but have only played it a couple of times because of Skyrim. Skytim is so addictive, and I love it. I haven't played it for about five days due to my laptop getting a virus, but that's all sorted now, and tonight I plan on installing Skyrim once again and getting stuck in.

Welcome! I don't know if Skyrim is better in every way possible, there are definitely things I like in Oblivion that are missing from Skyrim. Also, i'm not sure if it was just me but I had a perfect Oblivion game whereas i've run into a couple of problems in Skyrim.

Don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed Oblivion and got a fair few hours out of it. I'm just enjoying Skyrim even more than I enjoyed Oblivion.
