Help with Enchanting

I'm level 100 for enchanting, and have the perks aswell. I can buy magika robes that regen magika 150% faster but I can only enchant my dragon scale armour to 62% faster with a grand soul gem. Can I make this any higher? please help thank you.

Well I have not done this yet with a mage, still starting my first mage character BUT.. with the alchemy/potion/enchantment trick you can boost it more.. how much more I don't know sense I have not done it with robes, only weapons.

that grand soul gem you mention, is it filled with a grand soul or lesser?
does a black gem with a grand soul do the same results?
You have the perk in enchantment to get 25% stronger magica, health, stamina perk (or what ever it is called)?

It was filled with a grand soul, I also do have the perk 25% stronger magica, health and stamina. I will have to try the black soul gem, but I don't think it wil make a massive difference, worth a try though.

I have not heard of this alchemy/potion/enchantment trick before. Could you tell me how to do it please?

Liam, you can see what your going to get with a Black soul gem without actually making it. by selecting your item, enchantment and then gem. it should say what you're going to get without hitting the craft button/key.

ok here are some links, one will redirect you to a really good writing of it (or i used). Heed my warning, by doing this you could make the game very BORING because you are too powerful.

I am sure there are other tutorials here in skyrimforum.com but can't seem to locate them.

In the interests for full disclosure, the first link in tragik's post is a guide to using an exploit.

In the second link, steps 1 through 4 are a guide to a legitimate way to use the synergies among Smithing, Enchanting, and Alchemy to make powerful items. Step 5 is once again a use of the same exploit used in the first link.

There's really nothing to gain from using the exploit unless you're going to smith weapons to do ludicrous amounts of damage because (1) you can smith armor that achieves the armor rating required for maximum damage reduction using the non-exploit method (in fact you can achieve it just using Smithing, Enchanting and the Blacksmith's Elixir which you can buy from any Alchemy shop), (2) you can smith weapons to a quality level where they will do enough damage to kill Mammoths with 2-4 melee power attacks without using the exploit, and (3) you can make enchantments as strong as any you can find in the game (and in some cases a bit stronger).

If you have problems understanding the guide in the second link post here again and I'll try and walk you through it, but steps 1 through 4 from that guide are all you need to make your 150% Fortify Magicka Rate enchanted apparel.
