How do I get the words for shouts?

Hello Skyrim forums. I've learned a bunch of shouts but I need like words for them. For example the Slow time shout needs the Time word but I have no idea how to get it.

Well, if you already learned the word of power you must unlock it using a dragon soul. Dragon souls are obtained when killing dragons, after killing a dragon and absorbing his soul open the magic menu so you can select the shout you want to unlock and unlock it, and it becomes usable. Hope it helps.

If you are looking for the locations of all the shout words then read this....

If you already have the shout words & they are greyed out then as Mao said, you need to unlock them. Not knowing what system you are using the best way is click on a greyed out shout & you will get a box telling you how to unlock it.
For example on the Xbox 360 you press X to unlock a shout.

You don't need to cheat , just visit the Greybeards, find Erngeir (the only one who talks) ask him and he'll put a location for a Word of Power on your map and in your journal. After you get it, go back for more. Some of them are very difficult to find and get, guarded by Dragons and Dragon Priests.

Sometimes Erngeir is meditating or shouting in High Hrothgar Courtyard, through back doors of HH.

Also, when you do any shout in a town, you will soon after get a "note from a friend" delivered by a courier revealing another location with a Word Wall.

This applies to any location, it's not just restricted to towns.
