Part of me honestly thinks that I'd love to be a sell-sword. I mean, we can't get away with that sort of thing in this day and age, but I've always identified with the principles of loyalty, discipline, and honor present in those societies that had evolved warrior classes. (Companions FTW.)

I'd be a traveller and likely non-religious given all the mythologies flying around Skyrim and the surrounding areas.
 
id be the poor town drunk who dropped out of college and drinks away her sorrow at the bar and then one day falls into the sea and drowns..body eaten by slaughterfish and mudcrabs..

...but if I could have it my way id be cannibal who takes on the new role of skyrim serial killer.. id join the imperials only to harvest the dead for my food... until one day im discovered and I have to go into hiding and join up with the Dark Brotherhood... I enjoy sneaking up on my prey... stalking them in the shadows... use paralysis.. and go to town on their livers.. my home would be a cave or old ruin... id worship Namira and Molag Bal, id offer myself to Molag Bal... become the undead... until one day I become so powerful that a dragonborn is sent to destroy me.. Ahh yes... a girl can dream....
 
I really enjoy being stealthy, and have the occasional whim to steal something if I like it.
I most likely would be part of the thieve's guild, enjoy using a crossbow or bow.
I'd then be a wanderer, exploring the wild, ancient places, and going from hold to hold.

I'd probably live either in Riften, or near Dawnstar.


P.S. I love this thread.
 
I think if I were to exist in a world where it's easily possible to launch fire from my bare fists, I wouldn't find much time to do anything else.

That's a little concerning actually, now that I think about it...
 
I've read a lot of the other posts, some very creative others where a bit unrealistic, but I liked them ^.^

I'm a big LARPing fan, I love every minute of it, So if I lived in skyrim I think I would be:

An Adventurer. Traveling to see the world, to see all it has to offer poor little 'ol me. Searching hidden caverns with lush vegetation, hanging moss and trickling of water. The soothing breeze sweeping its way from the depths of darkness. Campfires, the smell of burning wood and a hearty meal. Enjoying the cool summer air with friends telling stories of old.

Traveling the land would have me encounter many trinkets of worth, dangerous obstacles. How can you pass on an exciting adventure like this. Maybe later I'll think about settling down, but not until I wet my whistle with adventure.

Make my own armor and weapons with the animal hides, feathers, fangs I carve off my kill. I would wear mostly Hide maybe with a bit of iron plate here and there from bandits who fall to my blade. I would carry two short swords, 5-6 daggers, quiver and bow, pack full of basic essentials(flint & steel, rope, toiletries, exe..), blanket, hatchet, and other useful adventuring tools.

A good adventurer needs knowledge about survival, geography, the lay of the land, and Lore. I would read often. You never know when you will need to be book savvy. Political concerns/views would not help me at all, but learning a bit of diplomacy will. Maybe to get me out of a tight situation and to establish my standpoint in society.

seeing how most ppl live away from the cities aka out skirts i would basicaly be like the dark brother hood, but i would kill just to loot coins, gems, and shiny stuff, move onto a new town and say im looking for work on a farm all i ask is room to sleep in....wait for night and kill them all silently...dont have to worry about dna, cameras, or all the bs that cops do now...i could just kill aimlessly as long as none saw, and if i was suspected seeing how bounties don't carry over to other hold just pack up steal a horse and move onto next place, after killing i would find a nice cave to hide some loot and then retire a bandit leader paying them to kill and loot and they get a share of the spoils...oh what a dream

Did you torture and kill small animals as a child? Psychopath! Gotta luv it though! I'm at 14K in bounties (and I pay them), how's about you?
 
my highest bounty was in riften...i killed a dragon but wounded a guard and they got mad at me so i killed them all, fled and came backa few days later and killed some did this for a few times then i did time in jail cos i wasnt paying 60k to them. Many a knee took an arrow, none were mine though

Wow! 60K on one bounty. Yikes. I killed maybe 50 Markarth guards and only got a 13K. They must really like their guards in Riften (of course 1/2 of 'em work for the Blackbriars, so I guess the do like them).
 
Since in RL I am working on fitness and such, I think maybe I'd decide to be a Warrior trainer if I lived in Skyrim. Go get myself a job helping train the out-of-shape newbies who want to join the Companions. ;)
