But when you say something like, "I hate all High Elves" and then the other side agrees with it... well they're agreeing with what you just said. Doesn't matter what you meant and you know what? I believe you hate us. I believe it. Otherwise you wouldn't have posted it.

just Like I hate the Civil War for all the stupidity it brings to the forums and would rather slaughter the leaders of ALL parties involved. but I can't, so I grumble and see if I can make characters that would actually side with a faction in it rather than simply sympathize with their "chosen side."

You did it. You used it again. You reuse an argument that was proven wrong, which is exactly what I predicted you would do, and even worse; you came to the point where you are making up arguments out of thin air.

First you say that I brush aside racism in my own faction, which is ironical since you posted that only a few hours after I told Jeremy I hated some of the racist things the Empire does. And now you say that I am unwilling to admit a mistaske? Do you remember one of my recent replies to you, Nenalata? Or am I naive for actually believing that you read posts before replying to them?

I interpreted it as him hating the Aldmeri Dominion, which is what I basically agreed with. Hating a faction, since that has clear points of view and stands for something, is understandable. Hating a race, however, not. People use High Elves and the Thalmor as a synonym all the time; which is were the confusion came from. I don't hate the Altmer.. And if that is what he meant, then I take it back and disagree. Then it was my mistake for thinking he was talking about the Dominion.

Wrong. I did admit I possibly made a mistake. But then the truth came out and I appeared to be right after all. I told you exactly what I thought Stigweard meant to say with his post, and then Stigweard replied to the thread and backed that up. From all the people in this thread you got this racist interpretation from his posts, and even though he already told you he didn't mean the High Elves but the Dominion you are still believing you are right? You accuse me of justifying racism by the Imperials, after I dedicated a post to why it is wrong the Imperials have these racist things as well.

The point of a debate is seeing your own errors, learning from it and then adjusting your argument. When you told me how you saw Stigweards post, I apologized for my wrong interpretation, which was a sign of me seeing my own errors. But then Stigweard backed me up, telling me that I was right after all. And then you just sticked with your original argument and just refused to be wrong. That is what you do. You refuse to be wrong, and refuse to be proven wrong. And that is why a debate with you is pointless. You probably entered this thread, already accepting that you were oh so right. And with that attitude, you won't learn anything from debating. You just came here to preach about your own opinion. And when you get an argument that proves you wrong, you just don't acknowledge it.. Come on.. You can do better than that.

I've also got to agree with what some other users have said, the thread is just running out of juice and anymore, is all one sided anyways. I'm simply amazed it's gone on for as long as it has. Truly a testament to how awesome Skyrim is. Even if I'm not particularly happy with some of the changes they made.

Simply put ~ I am who I am. And I refuse to apologize for it... because I do not believe someone should have to change their person to make another person happy. That said, I've made my arguments and I'll refer you to them. Which have largely been stripped of context and put up as little "props" for your counter arguments, in your posts. Esp the Bethesda Troll. You're not even presenting to people the actual argument I made. The reason(s) for the argument all of which was provided at that time and basically, that's not just my argument but standard corporate policy to not release details and start rumors for an unreleased title. Which is "Trolling".

Furthermore... yeah I get it. I'm just trying as hard as I can to be understood on a forum where pretty much Imperials run the show. "If you're not with them, you're against them". Althgouh they're perceived as evil, we're really not. We can see both sides of the argument. And indeed, Elsisif on several occasions introduces dialogue with the Dominion is trying to meet both side half-way. Go check it out if you don't believe me.

But whatever. This is just the way of things I suppose and nothing lasts forever. Have learned alot since I've been here but as I said before, the best thing for this thread is to let it end. Lock it down. Otherwise ~ You just wait ~ This will happen again to someone else who questions the Imperials too closely. I don't know what you're on about me not meeting half way? I've agreed to disagree on several things, I've admitted mistakes and corrected myself when proven wrong.

Imperials don't run the forum. Admins run the forum, Moderators patrol the forum. Each of them don't take this to heart.

If you no longer wish to post, that is your own right. But the thread doesn't need to be locked due to stubborn pride getting in the way of admitting error. I have admitted error on plenty occasions, as have many others on the Imperial and even some on the Stormcloak side.
