Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

You do realize that the Empire was caught off-guard last time, right? this time around, they know what is going to happen.

doesn't change the fact that they're still weak as pl***. If they hope to have any chance at all they better prepare for a defensive front rather than an offensive.

They were only "weak" because they got caught off-guard and were not able to prepare. IF that is weakness, then any country can be weak.

You don't understand my meaning they have 2 other countries in their "Empire" One is significantly weakened by War with only about half willing to join the Empire again(Skyrim) the other Constantly fighting over Politics (High Rock). Not a very strong army.

No, no, no, :/

No. Just no.

That's not the plan. I can tell you've never had to take a trip to the Recovery wing in a hospital or have never had to recover from some severe, debilitating injury yourself.

It doesn't and will not work that way. The Empire has to take small steps until it can run again. Right now, Empire is in ER fighting a shot to the stomach by Ulfric.

It can still recover but only if the Imperials act fast.

You have to understand how a recovery works and you will almost NEVER go back to full strength in a timely manner.
So what IS the plan, Legate?!

Ironic when a Stormcloak speaks in long term when in the end, the "defeat" of the Empire is a short term outcome.

If they win, Empire eventually goes to war with the Dominion while Skyrim licks their wounds to recover.

1. Empire wins, takes back Summerset, Hammerfell, Elswyre and Valenwood plus with High Rock and Cyrodill VS Skyrim, Cyrodiil wins and Boom, Talos worship all you want.

2. Thalmor win, same situation except now the Thalmor take over skyrim instead and guess what? you still lose your Talos worship.

Hold on a "UNITED EMPIRE" with 4 provinces 2 of which being the of utmost pristine warrior races didn't stand a snowballs chance in Hell against the Dominion the first time around. NOW you think a weakened Empire will SOMEHOW be able to take back Alinor, Hammerfell, Elsweyr and Valenwood. Tell me how that works please. And at least if The Stormcloaks win I get the taste of freedom for a little while.

Exactly my point. Theyre almost fatally wounded. They're are not at the strength to fight the Dominion and take back THREE PROVINCES

He has experience with that sort of thing. It doesn't change the fact that he was thinking long term and being strategic. Even Ralof says it.
Ralof: They wouldn't dare give him a trial. Treason, for fighting for your own people. All of Skyrim would see the truth then

This is the deal, alright?

The Thalmor have broken into a bank and have a gun to your head. In your hand, they have placed another gun. You are being ordered, by the Thalmor, to MURDER the other man, the Empire (cause for whatever reason they couldn't kill him), so that you can be allowed to run away with your life.

And you're the sort who'd shoot an unarmed target, the victim no less, on the floor, so that you can live for a little while.

Even Skyrim can fall to a sudden invasion. Is Skyrim thus weak for it?
Falling under sudden invasion is not weakness. Not fending it off with enough strength to. Skyrim is prepared (If Ulfric rules) for it, whether by Thalmor or Imperial.

And the empire were not able to prepare until AFTER the invasion. How can it be a weakness if it is impossible to do so?

Look at the Imperial Jarls, the last one of them that actually held him close is dead! He will be forgotten if the Nords do not honor him!

Every Jarl is a Nord. Look at Oblivion and Morrowind, most if not everyone in the Empire accepts Talos as a God. In the events of Skyrim, just because they don't say it outright, doesn't mean they don't worship Talos. Jarl Balgruuf secretly worships Talos as mentioned by his Son Nelkir during the Whispering Door quest.

I gave two outcomes. If the Empire defeats the Thalmor, you still get what you want. If the Thalmor win, You just slaughtered your brothers and sisters for temporary freedom that means nothing because now the Thalmor will unravel Nirn and end the world.

You did not give a Stormcloak ending. A Stormcloak Victory is far from what the Thalmor wants.

I've asked several times how and you have not answered this. How is an Independant Skyrim going to fight off an Invasion of Summerset, Cyrodiil, Valenwood, High Rock, Elswyre, and Hammerfell?

It won't. It doesn't need to. Why live under oppression when you can die independent?

WHO DOESN'T WANT TO LEARN?! BITCH I GAVE YOU A REASON 8 (count em) 8 TIMES AS TO WHY ULFRIC SURRENDERED AT THAT BATTLE THAT DISPROVED THAT HE WAS A COWARD, and, as you do, You chose not to listen to me.

And the empire were not able to prepare until AFTER the invasion. How can it be a weakness if it is impossible to do so?
Because you have not conquered impossibility itself.

If something is impossible, like mounting a counter attack when the shock and awe of the invasion is still going on, how can someone conquer it? It is impossible to defend against an invasion that no one sees coming.

Die independent? What a crock. You die pointless deaths and let the Thalmor unravel everything the Gods made for you to be alive. You think the Gods want that?

Then you are weak, and deserve to fall.

What reason? The Stormcloak one? Sorry, but as I have said before, Stormcloaks like to spin words to make their leader look good, as if he does not, then the rebellion falls.

No it's not... Good grief. The Thalmor know Ulfric, they can GET TO HIM. They can get into his head. And that's one thing Elenwen couldn't do with Gen Tully at Helgen.

Follow Ulfric and you will all die if war comes with the Thalmor, because they will deal with Ulfric. Kinda like what happened with Battlestar Galactica, you know, the computer virus?

And you have yet to acknowledge our counter arguments, b8tch. You just ignore them and keep on talking.
