Private Into The Dark

You're not afraid of him. Stab his horse, and while he's on the ground, slit his throat. Once they all charge, run to the deer you saw before. I won't murder him. "I didn't." Seven said, assuring Glass that it was OK.

Edwin waved his hand at Glass, "This isn't the time for infighting good sir knight. The boy is simply confused" Lowering his blade he wondered aloud, "Who or what could have done this much damage?"

OOC: Dang...you guys got far o_O

"Well all i know is that if you fight each other, and one dies, WE ALL will be lacking payment." Arthur said, somewhat answering Edwin. "So you can either strike Seven down and be poor, or let him live and we can all be rich." Arthur opened a bottle of mead and took a sip.

"The Jarl knows nothing of this strange boy. I will strike him down if he does not answer me. If he might confess, i'll clap him in chains. Easy as that."

R'alle hears screams and laughing down the corridor. He tries to sleep but finds it hard. Even the hounds put their paws over their ears trying to rest. R'alle wasn't in chains he was merely on Sera's bed. It was cold, he pulled the covers over his head and screamed. He jumped out of bed and pulled the covers off. There was 4 skeletons under her covers.

Sera opened the door with a worried look. She scanned the room and noticed The skeletons That frightened R'alle. She giggled and walked towards R'alle. He backed away scared as she slid the Skeletons on the floor in front of the hounds. They began chewing on the bones. She smiled at R'alle again showing her fangs,R'alle shuddered. She grabbed the book she gave to him earlier and tossed it at him. "Here, maybe you'll fall asleep if you read the book. If you're trying to stay awake, now isnt the time to be Rebellious,it's almost snack time."
She smiled and left the room locking the door again. He obediently opened the book and begun to read. He was on the 2nd chapter. The man was accused by guards of murdering a blacksmith. They had proof he was there by an eyewitness. The man(Lan) confessed he was there, but he was trying to sell the blacksmith some ingots Lan "Acquired." The guard didn't listen to him. He just arrested him. Lan sat in jail waiting for his execution.

R'alle heard an agonizing scream. "Oh no Snack time!" R'alle quickly threw the book and tried to fall asleep. He was purring as he tried to sleep, Purring always helped him.He heard the door swing open. He didn't look but he assumed it was Sera. He heard her voice as she got closer. "Awwww, the running tired him out." He heard her laugh and someone else. " He's even purring that's so cute!" He heard a deep voice speak. "Are you going to let him live?" R'alle didn't hear an answer instead he felt a cold hand pat his head and rub down his neck. He tried his hardest not to move or shudder. He just continued purring putting on the act of sleeping. He heard footsteps leave, and the door close with a locking sound.

OOC: wow R'alle, I almost don't want to come resuce you so we can continue reading about your horrible imprisonment, nice job man.

Edwin frowned at glass, "We shouldn't be worrying about a crazy boy right now sir knight, if you hadn't noticed this caravan has been attacked by some manner of horrible monster and its our job to find out what it is and stop it." Despite his brave words Edwin was feeling more and more uncertain about this entire afair, he was begining to wonder if he shouldn't just ditch this insane group and make a run for it out of the Reach. But then he would never know what had happend here, and if there was one thing Edwin hated it was letting an opportunity for adventure pas by.

Winter was growing increasingly agitated with the others, especially the way they were loitering around that god forsaken caravan.
"It was vampires, you imbeciles!" She snapped, whirling back towards the group in a rage. Her eyes looking at each of them icily, almost judgmentally. Why did they have to stick around? Why did that boy have to come along? Why was everyone still standing still?!

"There are no bodies. Barely any trace of blood, and yet there was an obvious struggle from the looks of the wreckage. Put two and two together, people! Come on! What creature would both drain every drop of blood AND take hostage any living survivors? A vampire! Don't you get it? It was vampires, probably a group of them." Winter realized she was shouting and from the worried look Lilumae was giving her, she knew she'd need to take a step back.
Inhaling sharply, she leaned back on one leg, trying to contain herself.

"There you have it, mystery solved. Now unless you want to stand here and wait for them to come back, I'd suggest we get a move on." Her voice had lost every trace of emotion now, it seemed blank and rather unlike the normal Winters hot-headed, bitchy self. It was as if admitting out loud that a vampire attack had occurred, had sucked the very life from her as well.

"Miss Winter?" Lilumae looked to Winter with wide and worried eyes.
"Yeah?" She glanced at Lilumae, her face still blank.
"Are you alright?" For a moment, Winter saw in Lilumae the girl she once knew and pain pierced her heart like a knife. She shook her head, pushing the image away. That girl was dead. Dead and buried.
This whole trip was slowly turning into a nightmare of memories. How many years had it been again? Too many to count...
"I'm fine. Thanks." It was odd, hearing Winter thank anyone for anything. Instead of placating the young girls concern, it made her worry more.

"The Jarl knows nothing of this strange boy. I will strike him down if he does not answer me. If he might confess, i'll clap him in chains. Easy as that." Said the glass soldier. See, I told you. He'll kill you. No he wouldn't. Yes he would. What's your name? I have already told you, I have many names. Although I cannot tell you my name, I'll tell you what I am. I am your instinct for survival. If I killed him, the group would try to kill me! Truth is, they want him dead too. Don't. Finally some logic! Just draw your blade. It will threaten him enough to make him think twice about coming after you. "Cover your eyes, Simon." Seven said, unsheathing his dagger. "There you have it, mystery solved. Now unless you want to stand here and wait for them to come back, I'd suggest we get a move on." Winter said, breaking the staring contest between Glass and the insane man. Seven eased his muscles, but did not put away his iron dagger. What are you doing? Put your blade away! No, it is the only thing holding them back. They are all in on it. They are all trying to kill you, and you just don't know it. That was their plan from the start. They are just waiting until the time is right to put a glass sword through you. I have to be smarter than them. I'll help you. I will stop convincing you to kill them, unless your life is in danger. Hang back to the very end of the line, so if they all attack you, you will have an easy escape. Seven slowed down as they walked until he was in the back of the line.

OOC: By the cheeks on my ass, you guys got far!

Jeroo heard the angry woman yell, "It was vampires!". Jeroo got a little worried, considering he was a vampire. He thought they would've accused him of being apart of this. As if he didn't already make a sketchy first impression. He just tried to keep calm and hide his fangs, they were already unnoticeable. He asked shyly, "Where do you think these...Vampires...went?". He knew sooner or later that he would have to admit what he was.

"A cave to get away from the sun, sounds logical, we should get moving. I..don't want to be here any longer" Jeroo-Shei said while nodding and getting burnt by the sun, pulling his hood further down over his Argonian snout. His scales provided him some protection against the sun, but not enough.

"Indeed," Edwin agreed. The fact that the caravan had been attacked by vampires (or so Winter said, and it did make sense) scared Edwin a little. He had never encountered vampires before, and from the tales he had heard of them, they were not very nice creatures. Despite this Edwin felt that he had to continue, both because of the deal he had made with the Jarl and the fact that backing out now was not really an option.

"I think I know a way to find these vampires," Edwin proclaimed, "that is of course if they are nearby."
Asking for the others to be quite he bowed his head, concentrating on the invisible trail the creatures that were here had left. A few seconds later he raised his head, and held his hands before him. A ball of magical light formed in it and he released it. It glided out of his hand, drifting north of the road and making a trail of silvery blue light behind it. "That, my friends, is the direction we must take." he proclamied, grinning at his sucess despite the seriousness of the situation.

Looking around, he watches Edwin as he works his magics, before lifting several pouches from his saddle bags, before striking the horse on it's flanks, whispering something softly, and watching it trott steadily away back to markarth. Hitching the assorted pouches to his belt, he pushes his cowl back, he takes an ornate necklace out from under his tunic, and begins to walk with it touching his lips, hushed prayers barely audible spilling from his lips, Those who look closely, might notice Kynareth's symbol on the trinket.

"That, my friends, is the direction we must take." Edwin said. He is the one leading you to your demise. Keep a close eye on that one. Keep close enough to hear their plots to kill you, but not close enough that you step on the backs of their shoes. Once you figure out their plot to kill you, you can make sure they don't make it out of that vampire den alive. Self-defence doesn't count as murder, right? No, it's legal. Good.

Einarr looked off into the distance towards Winter walking ahead of the group. "Maybe she's lonely?" He thought to him self as Lil brought it up. That didn't seem possible, on second thought it did. Wile she may be stunning to look at, a fact that wile Einarr tried not to let his eyes wander. It was far from hard to see she's a beauty, but see seemed so cold and distant that he hardly wanted to speak with her. Let alone get to know her. "Maybe I'm being a bit judgmental... still she could learn to be a little let of a b-" His thought stops as the caravan comes into view. He heard Lil gasp and the rest of the group start talking or arguing about it. He also noticed the bow drawing his dagger as if to ward off the glass knight. "Perhaps it may of been a bad idea to bring him along." He thinks.

Einarr looks around the camp and mutters a curse, and is about to tell them his idea on what happened when Winter snapped at them all. Almost looking frantic as she tells them vampires attacked the Caravan.
"Well how did she know that..." He mumbles to him self, He would need to talk to her soon even if it was just to ask her to lighten up.

But for now Einarr walked over to Edwin and muttered. "Clairvoyance, huh pretty advanced spell 'master' mage." Einarr says it playfully, but in a knowing way. As the spell was very basic.
Einarr then walked off a few paces a little shocked he was the one talking to some one for a change, being in a group must be getting to me already. He shook his head slightly and looked towards Winter again.
"She really is pleasant to look at." He mumbles just a little to loud, then curses him self as he meant to think that. He lowers his eyes and hoped no one heard him.

"Clairvoyance, huh pretty advanced spell 'master' mage." Edwin glanced at Einarr as he muttered to him. He wasn't suprised the mage had seen through all of his grandios and overexadurated spellcasting, but he didn't really care. Edwin liked being dramatic far to much to stop because of one mage in the group. He grinned back at him, "may be simple but its useful, never fear I have far more powerful spells at my disposal," and with a wink he set of after the light, his sword unsheathed and at his side in case of enemies.

"may be simple but its useful, never fear I have far more powerful spells at my disposal," "Watch out, Simon. He'll throw a fireball at you or something." Stop talking to him, everyone is staring at you. Relax, Simon needed to know. Kill them. I thought you were going to stop telling me to kill them. Not if it's self defense. Ugh, what does he know? Just wait until everything settles down, then make your move. Seven followed until they made their way to the cave. It was a rocky arch with a large door. That door can be locked.

Glass dismounted, making sure he walked behind the lunatic. He just knew something was going on with him, the way he looked at Glass sometimes. I won't let you out of my sight, Glass thought.

After following the Claravoyance spell for a while, they caught site of the entrance to the cave. The light from Edwin's spell disapated and he frowned, shifing his bandolier of potions and studying the door set in the side of the rock. "Well, it seems we have arrived," Edwin stated. He quickly focused his mind on another more powerful spell. Holding his hand to his temple a spark of magical energy pulsed along his fingers. His eyes flashed blue and a series of glowing figures apeared to his eyes. "Well from what I can tell there are several captives it this cave, there are also what seems to be some kind of dog or wolf. Unfortunatly I cannot sense the undead, and they are the ones we really have to watch out for." He let the spell slip away, as it was costing him a significant ammount of effort to maintain and looked to his companions for Ideas on how to proceed.
