I'm sure we can all agree that it is understandable that entering a new forum can be quite intimidating.

I thus thought it pertinent to set up this thread for new and existing members to come and introduce themselves to the community...hoping I wasn't stepping on any toes in the process.

Feel free to post as much or as little as you like about yourself or nothing at all if you wish to remain incognito and simply browse. The decision is yours; enjoy the forums and your stay in them - this community is a vibrant place full of wonderful people and it's somewhere I'm personally very honoured to be a part of...let's celebrate that and get to know one another a little bit more!
 
I'm Lucas. I'm 14 years old. I'm in 8th grade and I love skyrim. I'm also the commanding officer of my middle schools JROTC. And I've been here for a about a month. And I love girls.
 
Hello, I'm Sarah. I'm the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold. I'm a High-Elf who came with the Thalmor to make sure no Talos worshippers would be left alive. Indeed, I'm with the Thalmor Ambassy and we plan an attack on the Empire.

Of course, I'll do that by helping that idiot called Ulfric Stormcloak. By making the Empire weak here in Skyrim, the Dominion will be made so much easier. We also have Lautrec as the Master of the Thieves Guild, Brutus as the Harbinger of the Companions and Neria as the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood. We hold all important guilds in all of Skyrim.

The Dominion will be quick. May you pathetic weaklings called Nords bleed to hell.

Oh sorry, I'm supposed to introduce myself? I'm Pijack, hater of the Thalmor (though making a RP character based on it) and supporter of the Empire. Well, I'm from Brazil, so don't expect much of my English here. I guess that's all there is to know, really.

I'm 27 and come from Northumberland in the North East of England. I have a wonderful wife of almost three years who I have been seeing since I was 15 and a daughter who is coming up 2 years of age. I am a History Teacher at a local school and have a passion for the Viking Period, Medieval Period, Renaissance and Enlightenment.

I am a self-confessed film fan and an utter geek when it comes to fantasy...

I am an avid writer and reader and have had a few short stories edited and adapted by freelance film-makers but I am hoping to branch out a little more and finally write 'the book' as every aspiring writer is!

I have played rugby at an amateur level for 10 years and enjoy walking an hiking - taking trips to the Lake District and the Pennines on regular occasions.

I enjoy graphical design and am self-taught.

I am a very spiritual man: a lapsed Catholic who considers Gnosticism, Catharism and Esotericism to be my biggest influences.

I am ridiculously happy with my life and am deeply grateful for the life I lead and the people I share it with.

Your English is exceptional. There is absolutely no way I would have known you weren't a native English speaker -- except that, in my experience, most native speakers seem to have much worse grammar. :)

I don't know whether we want to keep this thread going (because there exists a more proper venue for introductions elsewhere), or let it lapse. But I wanted to comment on your post anyway.
 
Hey Stigweard, thanks for the invite to intro.

My name is Andrew. I'm a 32 year old father of three boys living in the Northeast United States. (Go Pats). I've been so gamer since since the days of atari (sorry kids if you have no idea what that is) and am really loving that my oldest boys 8 and 6 are getting old enough to game with their old man. I'm an old school geek with a history of table top gaming and LARP so games like skyrim are right up my ally. You guys have a good community here and I'm glad to have found you. As for characters, I play on xbox and my main is a 76 mage assassin. Focused on conjuration, illusion, alchemy archery and sneak. I have a few other characters in play around with. I'm trying to cap the main at 81 then I am going to try and new death knight build I'm working on. Anyway. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Nice to meet you. Most of my family speaks Portuguese, though we are originally from the azores (off mainland Portugal and nowhere near Brazil.) I really should have listened to my Vavo more. I can't speak about lick of it.

Im 51 years old, married and have 1 son 2 grandchildren. I permanently disable and homebound 24/7 pretty much, sometimes i get out if health is good.

I am addicted to games, i play almost 14 hours a day, everyday lol. I play MMO's as in Asheron's Call, Everquest 1 & 2, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars 1 & 2, Dungeons and Dragons Online and Dark Age of Camelot then i play all other games on my xbox 360 and ps3. My wife loves her type of games she plays on her laptop, we make an excellent couple

I live on a farm and have 5 dogs and 3 cats

It's ok. Alot of people miss that Forum sometimes.


However, It would be cool if everyone Here went down there and Posted a "Heya and Welcome" to each one of the New peeps that have posted there. It's easy to feel left out when you post a "hi I'm New" thread and no one ever looks at it.

It would be nice of you guys to give a hello to them.

No, seriously. I'm 27. I've moved more times than I can count, can speak passable French (a la Quebequois), a bit of Italian, and enough German to order a beer in Hamburg (but that's about it lol). I'm at a community college studying Biology after my first failed attempt at school, going to transfer to study Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Which is funny, cause I hated Biology in HS, and I now love it. I have a countdown going to when I transfer. Sheogorath is my homeboy. Oh, and I write. And I love attention. And penguins.

Yeah....I think that's it.
