Missing Otar's mask

I already killed him, took the loot, and went on my merry way. When I checked my inventory later the mask was nowhere to be found! I tried checking his body, but couldn't find it at the ruins. Does anyone have any tips? I don't wanna save scum when the file's so old.

I just finished that exact dungeon yesterday (XBox). I can't imagine what might have happened to it.

What was the fight like? Use any Atronach's? Shout's? I use Dremora Lord's quite a lot, as well as Unrelenting Force (all three word's), and I've seen stuff flying all over many times. I lost a Kagrumez Gem because of that Shout, and spent a half hour under water trying to find it.

I think I used a frost atronach. The rest was spamming archery and firebolt. I looted the guys staff and stuff. I swear I wouldn't just pass up a mask. Also checked both houses I bought.
