I been playing a stealth archer, very fun, but i would love to play a battlemage, spellcaster or mage to solo with. I do not want smithing and alchemy i hate tradeskills in my games i play so i stay away from them, i just need some advice on a good solo mage type builds that i can solo with plus i will do enchanting. So any builds advice please help?

Spellsword rocks, because you always have Missile, and melee in hand. Kind of like hitting the knife button in CoD. I usually go with Redguard, Destruction, Skyforge Steel handaxe, and Alteration. With as perk intesnive as those three trees are, I wouldn't invest in much else until the points start piling up, then Conjuration, go beat up Vokun, and get Flaming Familiar. Bound Sword is an excellent trainer for Conjuration. Don't bother with Armor, it only slows you down.

Firebolt, Critical Charge (to stun them) wuld away while the On Fire, and Bleeding status keeps doing damage, and come around for another pass... All kinds of fun, also works with Dunmer, but the 1H bonus at the beginning is nicer, because most of your fighting will be at a distance. Fire Resistance is nice for Flaming Familiar, though, which is why I prefer Dunmer Followers with attacks at a distance. (Jenassa, What's her nuts at the college...)

Spellsword's also a good transition character to Magical builds from non-magical ones. The hardest part is magicka Management, but if you run out, you still have the Sword as backup, and you don't have to draw it...

thank you for the help, sounds like a fun build and also i maybe be going to become a vampire lord, not sure yet. i havent gotten that far in the game with any of my toons,, and who is Vokun? anyone else with build advice please?

High Gate Ruins, due north of Ustengrav. He's a Dragon Preist, come heavy, but the reward is one of the most unfair spells in the game. Best for when you want to transition from Destruction to Conjuration, but I usually do it level 1 with a Breton and skip Destruction all together. (With bound swords.) Not advized your first time...
