Remarriage question.

StenvarsMemory

Dark Elf
So I've heard many variations over the internet about getting remarried, and I don't know which one works.

Stenvar, my hubby, died today. (Like 3 days in Skyrim time) and I wanna marry someone else. I still have the Amulet of Mara, and I've heard I need a letter of inheritance. Is there anything else I need to do, and when should I expect this letter?

You will get the letter from a Courier. It kind of comes random when you are walking around outside a city. After that, you will run into a Guard at any random city who will say "Hey, I know you". Then, all guards in that area will form around you and arrest you. After that they will take you to a room where they will ask you questions on how your husband died. In the interigation they will accuse you of foul play to get his inheritance.

At this Point you will have to get a lawyer. There are three. There is " Robert Shapiroblade" in Whiterun, "F. Lee Baileystorm" in Markath, and "Johny Cockran-killer" in Windhelm. You will have to go into a court which is a random date. At this point (And this is Important)...Make sure when you are being questioned to hit the Option "See! The Gloves don't Fit me!!!".

Done, your off, and you can marry again.

JK, after the letter you'll be free to do as you want.
