Respawns?????

Do enemies respawn? I am at a point where I may be regretting my decision of giant hunting. I am starting to receive bounties for places I have cleared. Will these areas respawn eventually? Dungeons and camps…

i think they come back after 30 days, not sure where i read that but i think on these forums. I'm also not sure if its 30 game days or real days....

I think also that if you get a bounty to kill a giant at a place you've been through and killed everything there, there will still be a giant to kill. It's a quest item and thus it will be there.. .theoretically.

I can confirm this. When you get a bounty in an area you already cleared, things will respawn...usually.

Swinder's den was a frequent bounty stop for me.

I cleared it on my own
Then got a bounty immediately after that
Then did the "find the redguard woman" quest in the same place.

However, I have encountered one issue in riften. I cleared this cave (I think it's robbers glen) then was told to go back there to disrupt skooma operations and there was only two guys in it and the quest won't update.

The dragon at ancient's ascent has respawned for me twice for a bounty. Don't you guys hate how inconsistent your pay is? I'll do something that I consider menial and get 1250 gold for it. Then I'll go and hunt down some bandit leader in a cave and get 100 gold. wtf?

Seriously! Tracked down some bandit chief half way across the map and kill them and their minions and only get a measly 100 gold. Of course, I didn make more selling off the loot I get most times.

I'm trying to remember the last time I got a bounty for a dragon and what it paid. I think it was the same... low.

500 is what I got for the ancient ascent dragon, I do beleive.

I had this happen to me once that I can remember. It was the quest to root out a master vampire outside of Markarth I think? It started with an "M." Anyway, I already cleared the cave on the way to town then eventually I was doing a quest and the last part was to clear the same cave. EVERYTHING had respawned including all the loot which was different but in the same place.

There was also a bandit camp I'm fairly sure I cleared but ~30 levels later the bandits were back.

pretty sure its the same as the "invisible Dawnstar chest", 30 "in game" days for respawn?

i'm having the same problem..i just find to expensive to buy filled grand soul gems. I'm at a point where there are no other giants or mammoths in the game, and gets worse: the first handfull of them i killed didnt filled any soul gems, once i didnt know about the soul capturing thing.
Anyway, i dont see other ways to improove your archery lvl if not killing them. I think thts a problem bethesda knew would happend if the player get too exited and go aroud the map slaying giants and mammoths, we just have to deal with it. I'm just starting all over again, even knowing im at lvl 36 and a half, LOL. This time ill put better use to my perks and off course, dont kill all the living plops at the game.
