((K, tired of waiting.))
The beast runs through the forest, snarling and trying not to trip over its mismatched feet. Its one bulging eye strains to see as it runs towards the smell of living beings to devour. It stops and looks towards two beings, a beast-man and a furry human. It opens it mouth and the stench of thousands of years of decay escape with its breath outwards. The memories of tasty flesh rush back to it and it charges out towards them. Just as it was upon the black-clad reptile, it stopped and shook from the magic of an ancient enchantment. The creature had the one things it feared more than anything else, the gem of its first master. It dared not get close to that object.
Wanting prey badly, the twisted beast turned its attention to the hairy man, who was backing away in fear. The reptile had drawn a sharp weapon, but the beast no longer cared. His meal was in front of him.
