Quest The Forsworn - Skyrim's Third Civil War Faction

Great presentation. And that is exactly why I kill Ulfic every single time I go through the game.

I have great compassion for the Foreswarn and frankly hate Ulfric Stormcloak and his whole campaign of genocide. Now if we can only get that darn treaty signed and give Markarth back to the people that have certainly suffered enough to deserve a home again, I'll be happy.

I'll stick with the enemy I know and can predict, not the xenophobic megalomaniac upstart. Besides, there's a heck of a lot more profit in supporting the big teams rather than the puny, puny uprisings.

Can somebody write an unauthorized DLC for this please? Oh, and one more thing. If we can get the Foreswarn back in to a home, can we get the Fashion Police up to SR to do something about those gadawful outfits of theirs?

Sorry about "Foreswarn" I always get that one wrong and no one has ever said anything. Apologies. Remember: i before e except after c, or r in the case of Forswarn. :)

Should I add the * as well? FORSWORN, FORSWORN, FORSWORN, FORSWORN... they say, if you repeat something 100 times it will stay with you forever. Going to my typewriter (an old Remington) right now to practice. :)
 
I remember this. It was the first thing I read on these forums. Not the reason why I joined, but it nostalgic anyway. (Darn you bubaquil and Docta Corvina!)

Loved the idea, I can't write enough to do it justice. If you ever read this, the Reach belongs to the Forsworn, my brother.
 
When I heard Braig's story, I wanted to stomp everyone- Nords and Imperials alike. I don't care if they worship demonic princes. It's not like they imposed their culture. The Forsworn only want to have their own place where they can do their own thing. It doesn't matter what goes on in the Reach, as long as they don't cross their neighbors

The more I play Skyrim, the more annoyed I get at how limited our options are. Here we have a faction who has done no wrong, and has been victimized, and we can't side with them. No. We need to side with either Ulfric and his racist underlings, or the Empire and their corruption and weakness.

What about the Forsworn, and their quest to win their own home? What about the other races, constantly oppressed by the Nord master race? There are people in Skyrim who are more deserving of aid, and who would be much more worthy as kingdoms, yet we can help none of them.

So much wasted potential.

Sorry. I didn't look at the time stamp. I found this through google.

I guess my conjuration is so high, I can do necromancy without even meaning to.
 
One thing that I think would be a little easier in implementations is, at the very least, allow the Dragonborn to be immune from the Forsworn if they help during the Markarth storyline. If I supported your independence, why would you attack me?
 
I just saw this, and wanted to say I love this idea. Echoing a few other people, I felt the Forsworn were very underdeveloped and nothing more than bandits with different outfits and weapons. It'd be nice to see an overhaul mod that included them in the civil war questline. I mean, what a better time to rise up and reclaim their homeland? FORSWORN FOREVER!
