The Next Skyrim DLC...

as it remains pretty unknown how the Dwemer were killed off. it would be cool if some of them escaped into a plain of oblivion and you have to find them and free them to do something in the quest

They weren't killed. If you play through a radiant quest in the mages guild, you know they were

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

transported somewhere. This is why I believe they're with the Psyijic Order, because they teleport in and out and freeze time likes it's nothing. They say the world is not ready for the eye of Magnus, but they handle it quite well. I think Bethesda is going to bring it the Legendary mage guy from the 1st Era to explain most of the power and magic that the Dwarmer probably discovered.

I'd like to see the return of the Dwemer. Either that or somthing to do with taking on the Thalmor instead of just slaying a few Justiciars.

You should totally play Morrowind. Tons of Dwemer History.

I have a feeling that "they" Bethesda will never tell us about the Dwemer on a Patch. The Secret is like 15-years-old now (15 Real Life years lol). It's a BIG thing to delve into. I would see them doing it in a totally new TES game on Hammerfell though. If I remember right, Hammerfells name is actually a Dwemer Legend about where they all went. But who knows, anything could happen.

I have played morrowind xD

=o and I would to play in Hammerfell again, I just love the native lands of my Redguards ^-^

Its unlikely bethesda will shed any light on what happened to the dwemer, other than, quote, "scraps and stale cheese collected over the years from ancient, half-myth tomes and any falmer records NOT about pain suffering and revenge." unquote. the disappearence of the dwemer is arguably the biggest mystery in the elder scrolls games to date.

AS for the next dlc, id like to see werebears. like how hircine created alot more manbeasts that wolves? skyrim should be full of them... oh and spears, conjure spriggans, build your own house, those teleportation spells every outcast from winterhold knows, oh and DRAGONRIDING!!!

Yeah its a big mystery but according to lore the dragons were even a bigger mystery and they did a whole game on them. Im nit saying a future ES will be based on this but i do think they will eventually touch upon the disappearance and maybe even reveal the secrets

I think Dwemer disappearance had to do something with the Daedric Princes.

"The Dwemer scorned the Daedra, and took in their gods of reason and logic..."
Not the correct quote but close.

There's so much they could do. Maybe a war with the forsworn. A plot by a dragon to revive there leader Alduin. A falmer uprising. Solving the dwemer mystery. An expansion of the blades. Who knows

The first two DLCs began production around release day. We know this since they out right said so. Also Microsoft bought rights to the first two DLCs for the first 30 days of each. So we will get at least one more DLC which is already in development.

That said I want some added use to my extra 58 dragon souls. (I have 70 souls total and I need 12 more non-DLC words and then there are 9 souls required to top up DG shouts when it is released on PS3) I had a theory where you could use multiple souls as re-spec points. Example: ten dragon souls would give you one recovered perk point that is not needed for a higher level perk that you have, that way you need to remove perks from a tree one by one instead of undermine the bottom and so you can't get just the master perks in each skill. Also though it is unlikely the ability to trade dragon souls for perk points would be nice. In fact I see dragon souls with the potential to become a currency to be used with special dragon vendors or dragon-hunters. Just so long as the new DLC adds something worth while and makes use of my collection of dragon souls. Maybe even a dwemer who survived and knows a way to use the power of dragon souls to make a new type of magically weaponry...

You read my mind. I was thinking there should be a way we could turn our souls into perk points. Or maybe like you said, a Dwemer plot. There should be a living Dwemer or maybe a Dwemer machine which can convert dragon souls into weapons.

I wish only for Mehrunes Dagon to somehow return so i can ascend into a higher being and serve him for eternity and rise up in the ranks of Dremora.

It does seem like a good shout (pun intended) that the next DLC is about the dwemer. I just finished doing Arniels Endeavor again, I had forgotten that that was linked with the dwemer. The fact he just disappears (like the dwemer) and all your left with is keening and the ability to summon his ghost or "Shade" but no answers.

I really want to see something involving the Dwemer, I'd be delighted if they were involved.

In regards to the Thalmor, I'd love them to declare war on Skyrim and try and invade :D Slaughtering Thalmor would be fun.
