Private The Rebels

"Are you here by the request of the high king?" Ardin put his hood down, looked around the room and saw a girl. A girl who was the leader. At least that is what he assumed. "I guess so. Come to think of it, I love the weather." He said sarcastically. "I assume your Beth Signysdaughter? I am Ardin Wolf's-bane. What I find strange is that Ulfric would send for a legionnaire. Why is that?" He slid his hand near his sword incase. Luckily his cloak was hiding it. "Whatever the reason, I'm at your service." He nodded his head out of politeness, sat down. He felt very out of place, and watched. He was still shivering, and still sick of the cold. "What is the task at hand? Did I miss introductions?" He proceeded to order breakfast and a drink.

"The High King summoned anyone that could help rid Tamriel of the Thalmor; that is our aim. We are to travel through each province in turn, wiping the Thalmor from each."
Beth took a bite out of her breakfast, and as she was chewing, she gave Bjorn a smile and a thumbs up.

Bjorn listened as the man introduced himself as Ardin Wolf's-bane. Then he figured out why the man seemed different. He was a legionnaire, why in Talos name was he here. As the man spoke Bjorn noticed a very small shift in the mans stance, he kept an eye on him, he could be a spy. Maybe he intercepted a letter, either way Bjorn decided to be friendly giving him the benefit of the doubt. Beth answered his questions, "The High King summoned anyone that could help rid Tamriel of the Thalmor; that is our aim. We are to travel through each province in turn, wiping the Thalmor from each." She smiled at Bjorn while eating her food, he smiled with a wink and a nod. Then after the man ordered his breakfast stood up and introduced himself. "I'm Bjorn Gelotte, pleasure to meet you." He spoke, reaching to shake the mans hand.

"Ardin Wolf's-bane. Pleasure." He shook Bjorn's hand. "Looks like you have a few other people. We would need an army to rid this plane of Thalmor. An army or a really good team. I have seen how they work, the way they enjoy inflicting plain. Gods, even the High elf in the legion hates the Thalmor. That's how you know those bastards are pure evil. I have had my fair sure of thalmor blood, justice, and beratings from my officers. my tongue can't seem to hold itself in their "mighty" presence. I guess us mortals are no match for gods?" He sat down and chuckled. His cloak dropped to the floor and he began eating his food.

"So whats our first move? Or do we plan on wondering around aimlessly until we bump into one and then politely ask him for directions of all of their encampments?"

"Are you here by the request of the high king?" Beth asked a new man. "I guess so. Come to think of it, I love the weather." He said sarcastically. "I assume your Beth Signysdaughter? Baroth eventually found a seat and ordered an apple. He learned, the hard way, that drinking mead before going on a mission didn't pan out too well. As he swallowed the bits of chewed apple, he pointed a finger at Beth. "If i am correct about Beth here, she has a plan for that already. Am i right?"

"Beth's in charge, so we follow her lead." Bjorn said slightly agitated. He clearly didn't like this Ardin. He had to keep eating in order to prevent him from asking the question that was haunting him. Was this man at Solitude? Bjorn is not short tempered but when it came to the honor of his family, well he had a short fuse. He shifted his gaze back to Beth, she was attractive and he had hoped that she wouldn't take his chivalry as a sign of arrogance.

Beth sighed. It was going to be a long trip if everyone was at each others' throats the whole way.
"I do indeed have a plan, and we're starting with the west. High Rock, Hammerfell and the like. That's all we need to know for now."
It kept coming back to her that Bjorn seemed almost to be trying to impress her. She would call him out on it eventually, but not here. She had the tact to at least wait until they were alone to do that. "So. If everyone's ready?" She gestured towards the door, hinting that they should get going.

Baroth nodded and stood with the apple in hand, scooting his chair back against the table. "If you'll allow me to retrieve my pack, i'll be ready. I'll meet you guys at the stables." He said, giving a farewell nod as he pushed open the doors of the inn, letting in the bone-chilling air for a moment before he closed the doors behind himself. He turned to the right and headed towards the Market district. Not the best introductions so far, but they'd warm up to each other, hopefully.

Bjorn was packed and ready to go. He retrieved his pack from under his chair, motioning to the door. "Now is as good a time as any, we have a decent ride ahead of us best to get going." He was just ready to get moving he thought the journey would give him time to diffuse. Maybe he and Ardin would become friends, Bjorn was no lover of the Empire, but he was far from a die hard supporter of all the Stormcloaks stood for.

"Thank you milady. Okay we have a long ride ahead. I am indeed ready. I'm looking forward to working with all of you. Let the battle favor us all! Who wants to say a prayer over us? Not all of the legion wants to ban Talos. That was forced by the damn elves. We signed the treaty to stop the great war. Anyways, who wants to say a prayer to watch over us in the coming days?" Ardin was genuinely honest about what he said. He hopes that the others will in time think better of him.

Bjorn was taken back for a moment maybe this was a true Nord. "Ardin why don't you lead us in this, prayer." He said as friendly as possible. "We do need to get going though once we can."

"Oh sacred Talos, heir to the Seat of Sundered Kings, Dragonborn, Ysmir, first god-king of Cyrodiil, we give thanks unto you for the graces you have given to us." The sound of echoing voices in tandem filled the inn. Even the patrons bowed their head and prayed with the group. They will need faith for the days to come. This group needs to band together and forget their differences in order to kill the thalmor and rid them once and for all. After the prayer, everybody was done, ready and determined to rid the thalmor dogs from this place. Ardin is looking forward to it.

Bjorn looked up, and nodded to Ardin, proud to know this Nord had not lost his way completely.

Beth smiled, amazed at what Ardin had managed to start. Bjorn appeared to now trust the man much more, which was good.
"Thank you, Ardin." She grabbed her bags. "Shall we be off?"

Bjorn was already standing up, pack over his shoulder, mace on his hip and shield on his back. "After you Beth." he spoke in a soft voice.

Nomad got up as he saw others leaving. He felt hungry still, he wished that being in the companions would have helped his hunger.
