Wait on leveled gear?

So me and my dark elf have been going through the theives guild missions and he's currently level 12. I've been looking at info on the net about the loot in the game, and a lot of people seem to like the nightengale armor.
Being that the enchantments on it scale with your level, is it better to hold off until I'm higher level to go get it? I had wondered the same thing about the armor you get in the dark brotherhood quests. Or should I just get it now, since I'll just be getting more leveled loot later?

Well Nightinggale armor to me is equivalent to medieval batman suit. So its pretty good, and the stats are too. And yeah for a much more powerful version just wait for later levels. This is a cool gear set to have. I'm level 47 and I use it.

The Nightingale Blade is bugged at the highest level. It cannot be improved by smithing sounless and until Bethesda fixes the bug, you are better off getting it between levels 36 and 45 so you can smith it to Legendary+ quality for better base damage than the level 46+ version. The dual enchantments on it are still pretty great at the second highest enchantment strength.
